15 Amusing Steam Reviews That Will Make You Laugh

Updated:

If you play and download games on PC then there’s a high chance you’re familar with Steam. What you might not be familar with is the softwares built in review system. Sometimes the user submitted game reviews can be extremly funny.

Here’s a list of 15 amusing user submitted Steam reviews we found.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Thanks to this game my family, friends and my boyfriend started to value me more because they haven’t seen me for 2 weeks.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a fantasy RPG that takes players a while to familiarize themselves with but is one of the immersive experiences in video game history. It’s particularly famous for its side missions, with NPCs that feel and behave like a real person would. It’s not a surprise that this user has found a new home in the islands of Skellige and the baroque city of Novirgad.

Red Dead Redemption 2

FOUND YA, LENNNAAAY!!

This sprawling western epic also takes some time to find its feet but does so deliberately. In the early hours of Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2, most of the time is spent with the protagonist, Arthur Morgan, taking part in leisure activities with the members of the Van der Linde gang. One activity that fans seem to love is the drinking adventure with one of the more beloved members of the gang, Lenny. Arthur’s strong country accent only makes this scene even more memorable.

God of War

Boy.

Kratos, the God of War, isn’t one for laughs and he’s certainly not one for a lot of words. The bruised and broken Kratos is now a father. His son, Atreus, is the polar opposite of Kratos, which makes for some interesting father-son dynamics. However, Atreus often gets overcome by emotion and Kratos only needs to say ‘boy’ to bring him back to earth. This call is repeated throughout the game and has turned into a bit of meme since the game’s release.

Hades

Everyone is hot

This roguelite has received rave reviews and despite its difficulty, it’s always fun to play but that isn’t the only reason fans seem to love it. The look of the game is truly stunning, taking the player into many of the famous realms from Greek mythology. It’s not just the world that is stunning to look at, as this user reminds us.

Grand Theft Auto V

My mom’s still looking for her credit card. But hey! At least I have a flying bike!

This title seems to still be going strong for a third generation and much of that has to do with its online feature, which seem to have left many a gamer broke. This satire on the American dream will probably have some meta commentary on how GTA Online is affecting gamers because a flying bike isn’t bizarre enough.

FIFA 22

its a casino for kids

The FIFA games have come under a lot of scrutiny over the years for its loot boxes, whose mechanics have been compared to those seen in gambling. This user certainly agrees with that sentiment.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Just 10 more minutes…

Another RPG known for its immersive world, Skyrim is known less for its real world similarities and more so for allowing the player to bend the rules and make of this fantasy realm whatever he or she deems fit for their journey. It can also be difficult to switch to the real world once you’re deep into this one. 10 more minutes won’t do.

Cyberpunk 2077

Unlike CDPR, I finished the game.

The developers of this game felt the wrath of the gaming world after releasing an unfinished product. At least this user found some humor in it all.

Dark Souls III

I hate this game… I want to play more.

Known for their severe difficulty, the FromSoftware games push the player to love infuriating but highly satisfying challenges. This user has summed up that feeling perfectly.

Bioshock: Infinite

I dont klnow what myy lefgs are

The critically acclaimed Bioshocks games are known for their philosophical undertones. The last part of the series is a reality-bending masterpiece, which can leave the player in a state of confusion after the end. This user’s struggle to elucidate his or her thoughts is a feeling most Bioshock fans will be familiar with.

Fallout 4

Can’t believe this is what’s happening in Boston rn, praying for them

Another RPG, the Fallout series has a similar premise in most games. A big American city is ravaged by nuclear holocaust and the player gets to unravel the mysteries that lurk under all the rubble. This user seems to enjoy making sarcastic comments. He’s praying for the fictional Boston, which is the American city at the center of Fallout 4.

Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain

Arma but playable

This user has taken a dig at the Arma games, which share some of the features of the highly influential and loved Metal Gear Solid series. Phanton Pain is an intelligent game but there are times when games can get a bit too ambitious and the Arma games have got an infamous reputation for the same.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

The only game where i avoid fast travel.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has lost some its charm in recent years but this installment seems to have aged well. Ubisoft took a risk by taking the game to sea but fans seem to have bought into it. Singing shanties and knocking down large armadas never felt so good. The game compels players to explore the deep blue sea.

Batman: Arkham Knight

When the batmobile got blown up I cried tears of joy

Despite the critical and commercial success of the Batman trilogy and its final installment, many gamers felt that the batmobile was forced on them. This user did not mince his or her words when talking of the batmobile’s underwhelming impact despite all the hype that surrounded its functions prior to the game’s release.

Football Manager

I’ve never bought and sold so many children from South America before

The football simulation game is a favorite among soccer nerds and has been praised for how real the functions undertaken by the player feel. It has an incredible database and is the dream for those who love imagined transfer windows. This user can’t seem to get enough of South American players.

Steam review system can be a great for getting some real players thoughts on a game. These were just some of the funnier reviews we found.
