After playing a while, Gundam Evolution players will start to notice that there is unlockable content through spending Capital. However, earning Capital is not straightforward in this game. Here’s how you can get Capital and start buying items off the store in Gundam Evolution.
Where to Earn Capital
At the beginning of Gundam Evolution, you’ll immediately see some locked Mobile Suits and a lot of cosmetics that aren’t available to use. Unlocking this content will need some of the in-game free credits, Capital, to start using them in matches. Earning Capital can be done through:
- Successfully completing a Beginner’s Challenge quest
- Earned as a reward for attaining a Battle Pass level
The developers currently have implemented a few ways to earn Capital in the game. This currency is not given out at every match even for a single credit. Grinding out to play as many matches as possible allows players to quickly level up their Battle Pass.
How to Spend Capital
You need the game’s earnable credits, Capital, to buy anything useful in the game. These are the two main places to spend the Credits on:
- Unlocking a new Mobile Suit
- Rolling for cosmetics on the Cap Pod in the Shop
Freshly earned Capital is highly recommended to be spent on Mobile Suits first. The locked Mobile Suits offer a stronger team utility and a new experience that many players might not be used to. On release, the locked Mobile Suits cost 1,980 Capital to unlock. You’ll need to clear a lot of Beginner Quests and hit near Battle Pass level 20 to get enough Capital to unlock one Mobile Suit for your account.
Alternatively, Capital spending can go on Cap Pods in the Shop to get cosmetics. This option will give you some of the cosmetics that are currently available in the game to equip for your Mobile Suits. This loot are purely for cosmetic use and does add any stats for your character.
As of now, the developers have yet to introduce a faster way to earn Capital and start buying items in the game. Purchasing the premium Battle Pass early can help you progress the game faster.
