Inner Sloth is teaming up with Limited Run Games to launch a physical version of Among Us. While the “physical” edition actually includes a download code for Steam and Epic Games Store, the PC Collector’s Edition is full of goodies that any Among Us fan will be excited to have.
The announcement comes from Limited Run Games’ Twitter account. The PC Collector’s Edition will be a hefty $79.99, which is a huge jump from the game’s regular price tag. However, the amount of merchandise that comes with it should make it worthwhile.
Limited Run Games is a video game distributor that specializes in release digital games in physical media, which makes them perfect for a physical version of Among Us.
Perhaps the most exciting one is the packing itself. The packaging will come in an emergency button collector’s box, which features the emergency button from the game itself, and pressing it will emit the same sound heard in the game.
Alongside the emergency button is a jewel case, which features a disc containing the ambient music in the game.
An Among Us styled steelbook that features a red imposter is included, as well as a disc containing concept art of the game and interviews. Presumably, the interviews will be with the developers of the game.
A reversible 18″ x 24″ poster, which features a white crew member on one side, and a yellow crew member being ejected on the other will also be part of the collector’s edition.
Finally, the download card that has the codes for Steam and Epic Games Store will be styled after the ID game featured in one of the game’s task.
The PC Collector’s Edition of Among Us will be available starting May 11th and will be made available for pre-order at Limited Run Games’ website.
Among Us is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch, while a PlayStation and Xbox version are on the way.
