Animal Crossing: New Horizons could be getting increased farming options, a diving feature, and more in the future.
Through data mining, Twitter user Ninji has brought to light several pieces of information that hint at exciting updates to Nintendo’s latest installment in the Animal Crossing franchise.
Blathers might be getting an upgrade…
Firstly, Ninji discusses possible upgrades to the museum. He states that he found entries for two additional museum upgrades; these upgrades also include an art section. Whether this is for user-created pieces or pieces found in the world is unknown. He also states that there seem to be two new buildings related to Blathers’ fixture. Both a museum shop and museum cafe could be coming to an island near you.
Watering Cans will be more important than ever, too.
Then, he goes on to discuss possible additions to Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ plant life. These additions come in two forms: Bushes and Vegetables. The Bushes you might be able to plant in the future include Azaleas, Hibiscus, Holly, and Hydrangea. Meanwhile, you’ll be able to grow tomatoes, carrots, pumpkins and more! With people reaching the terraforming stage of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, these updates will undoubtedly be welcomed by the community should they come.
The Depths surrounding your island may be calling…
Ninji also discusses the possibility of Animal Crossing: New Horizons getting a diving feature. This might be similar to the Diving which appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the game’s predecessor. This, then, will mean that it could feature an entirely new set of sea creatures for players to collect and send to Blathers. This, along with the possibility of museum upgrades, would mean a lot more content for players.
