Animal Crossing New Horizons has entered the month of July, meaning there’s a whole horde of new fish and insects to collect. Also, in addition to new critters, the new month means the arrival of Nintendo’s summer update.
The update includes the new ability to swim by first receiving the swimsuit. Gulliver will continue to wash up on your island, but this time in pirate gear with new tasks and rewards, also, whilst in the ocean you may be paid a visit by Pascal.

These will be available in the Nook shop. There will be various designs available, changing daily, so make sure to keep checking back!
As for how much the swimming gear costs, Nintendo have provided a screenshot with a horizontal striped outfit listed at the price of 3,000 bells.
All you’ll need to do is buy one once the summer update arrives so you can start exploring under the sea! Exciting!
How To Swim!
Well, first of all, you need to pick up that wetsuit!
Once you have purchased the necessary gear, all you need do is equip it and get ready for a big swim!
When swimming in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you’ll be able to dive to the depths of the ocean to pick up new sea creatures to donate to your museum.
Also, don’t forget: you’ll also be able to pick up scallops to donate to Pascal for mermaid-themed DIY recipes.
