Earlier today, Bethesda posted a clip announcing a new Indiana Jones game.
According to the teaser below, the game is shown to include MachineGames as well as LucasFilm Games, which comes just after the recent announcement of LucasFilm Games being revived.
The game was announced to be developed by MachineGames, the studio behind the recent Wolfenstein series, and will be in collaboration with LucasFilm Games as they continue to surprise us with new information on the revived brand.
In response to the previous tweet, Bethesda also mentioned that the new Indiana Jones game will be executive produced by Todd Howard.
While this preview and two tweets are pretty much the only information to go on at the moment, The Verge mentioned that Disney announced: “the game will tell a wholly original, standalone tale set at the height of the career of the famed adventurer.”

Other than this, some have suggested that the game appears to be set in Rome based on the preview. Luckily, as mentioned before, the game will be its own thing and not based on any previous Indiana Jones games, which means new content and hopefully hours of fun and adventure.
Before LucasFilm Games, there was LucasArts, which handled all of the LucasFilm game titles, including a plethora of Star Wars titles, some older Indiana Jones titles, and much more, considering they were founded in 1982. I’m excited to see what is in store for the future of the company and the games they have planned.
