Day 2 of the CDL London Home Series is the most action packed of the entire weekend. This is the same for all of the Call of Duty League Home Series events. With six games taking place throughout the day, it is make or break for everyone. Here’s a recap of the most recent action. We’ll take a look at the finals taking place later today.
Brief Day 1 Recap

- London Royal Ravens 3 – 1 Seattle Surge
- OpTic Gaming Los Angeles 2 – 3 Florida Mutineers
- Paris Legion 1 – 3 Dallas Empire
- New York Subliners 3 – 0 Los Angeles Guerrillas
There were no surprise results in the day 1 action. However, the script completely flipped during day 2.
CDL London Home Series Day 2 Recap
There was plenty of action that took place, so let’s dive into a quick breakdown of each game that took place.
Seattle Surge vs OpTic Gaming Los Angeles
This was the Group A Loser Bracket Round 1 matchup where the loser would be sent home. Seattle Surge had an unfortunate showing, with OpTic taking the series 3-1 and keeping their tournament hopes alive.
Paris Legion vs Los Angeles Guerrillas
Los Angeles are currently tied for last place whilst Paris have had some miserable appearances recently. Paris looked weak in their opening game at the London Home Series against Dallas. The Paris Legion looked like they had a breath of fresh air, winning the series 3-1.
London Royal Ravens vs Florida Mutineers
The London roster had a lot on their shoulders at the start of the season. Whilst not eyed up as the strongest team in the league, alongside Paris they were carrying the hopes on Europe. It has been a turbulent season thus far, but a 3-2 victory over Florida at their home event has sparked further motivation for the roster. This was a shock to Florida, who dropped to face OpTic Gaming Los Angeles in an elimination game in Group A.
Dallas Empire vs New York Subliners
New York has been on a come up since bringing Mack onto the roster. However, the true dominance of Dallas has been questioned lately, and they had to prove everyone wrong before the playoffs. An impressive 3-0 win secured their place in the Finals on Sunday.
Florida Mutineers vs OpTic Gaming Los Angeles
Florida didn’t expect to find themselves in an elimination game this early, especially with in being in group stage. It was back to normal for them though, as they swiftly knocked OpTic out of the CDL London Home Series. This secured them a matchup against Dallas Empire in the semifinals. It is expected that the winner of this series will go on to win the Home Series.
New York Subliners vs Paris Legion
This was possibly the biggest surprise of the day and the entire Home Series so far. Paris Legion came out and blitzed New York in a 3-0 victory. This locked them into a semi-final match against London Royal Ravens. This means there is a guaranteed underdog story heading into the final day of action at the CDL London Home Series.
