Civilization VI: New Frontier Pass is receiving its fifth pack with new leaders, districts and more.
In the first half of 2020, Civilization VI received its first pass. Named Civilization VI: New Frontier Pass, it promised to bring the empire management strategy game new updates though 2020 and 2021. With Maya and Gran Colombia Pack in May 2020, Ethiopia Pack in July 2020, Byzantium and Gaul Pack in September 2020, Babylon Pack in November 2020, its time to welcome the first pack of 2021. Vietnam and Kublai Khan Pack is already available as part of the New Frontier Pass or solo.

The pack brings the leader Bà Triệu to a new civilization to the game, Vietnam and the leader Kublai Khan for China and Mongolia. It also brings the Monopolies and Corporations mode, along with a new district, Preserve District, that can be unlocked with Mysticism.
March 2021, promises to bring the last pack to the New Frontier Pass with a new civilization and leader, a new game mode and more contents. More information about the sixth and last pack was not revealed yet.
Vietnam’s Bà Triệu
Bà Triệu, also know as Lady Triệu, was a fierce and fiery warrior in 3rd century Vietnam. In the game, the Vietnamese civilization is receiving three unique features. An ability, Nine Dragon River Delta, a unit, Voi Chiến, and a district, Thành.
Bà Triệu herself has also the unique ability of ability Drive Out the Aggressors that makes her stronger in Rainforest, Marsh, and Woods tiles. And, with the agenda, Defender of the Homeland, she basically likes whoever has not declared war on her. But, if you do, be prepared for a permanent grudge.
China’s or Mongolia’s Kublai Khan
Although Kublai Khan, an emperor that it’s the grandson of Genghis Khan, doesn’t bring unique abilities, units or districts to the Chinese and Mongolian civilizations, already in the game, he can represent either one of them.
His leader ability is the Gerege. With Gerege, he receives one extra Economic Policy Slot in any government and also gets a random Eureka and Inspiration when establishing a Trading Post in another Civilization’s city for the first time. And, with its Pax Mongolica agenda, the more Gold and military strength a civilization has, the more he likes it.
Monopolies and Corporations Game Mode
With Monopolies and Corporations, you can be quite a capitalist empire while building Industries around Luxury resources, founding Corporations to assist their development, and manufacturing unique Products. Monopolies on resources grant additional Gold and Tourism according to the number of foreign trading partners and the number of resources controlled. With the correct combination of techs researched, the amount of a specific Luxury and constructions, the player can even receive resources bonuses or receive a Eureka and Inspiration moment.
