Need something silent and deadly? You need a Crossbow. Warzone thankfully can provide, but how do you unlock it?
You may have seen the Crossbow knocking about in Verdansk already. It pops up every-so-often as a legendary weapon drop, but what if you want to use one more often than that? Well, thankfully, you can unlock one! If you’re not sold on them, here’s the official rundown of what they do:
“Silent and agile, this high-performance crossbow fires 20.0”bolts with exceptional lethality. Exclusive customisation, distinct functionality, and unique ammunition types put this weapon in a class of its own. Standard 20.0” bolts are recoverable, and are undetectable by trophy systems.”
Crossbows are silent, deal a sniper’s-worth of damage, and can shoot through Trophy Systems. As long as you account for the drop, then you should be fine! You can also recover their ammo which can help out as you enter Warzone’s late-game stand-offs.
Crossbow Warzone Unlock Needs At Least 125 Kills
In order to unlock the Crossbow, Warzone needs you to get 5 kills in 25 different multiplayer matches with a Marksman Rifle with a Reflex optic. This seems simple enough, but can be a little bit of a chore. I would recommend using the SKS with the Operator Reflex Sight. The fire rate combined with the damage makes this useful in a pinch.
