Days Gone offers plenty of zombie hordes to fear. With 40 hordes available to eradicate in-game, you must destroy at least three in the main mission. If you’re lucky to stumble across a smaller horde, you will only have to deal with 50 Swarmers, but larger hordes serve you 500. To cleanse the world of infestation, this guide will show you where to find all of the horde locations in Days Gone.

Cascade Region
Grotto Caves Horde – Size 75
Fast travel to the Nero checkpoint. This horde is located West of the Old Pioneer Cemetery.
Horse Lake Horde – Size 25
Fast Travel to the Jefferson Rail Tunnel Ambush Camp and travel south to find the horde.
Death Train Horde – Size 50
This horde sits next to the Horse Lake Checkpoint. Fast-traveling to this Nero checkpoint could alarm the horde. Therefore, approach with caution.
White King Mine Horde – Size 50
Head west of the Jefferson Rail Tunnel Ambush Camp.
O’Leary Mountain Horde – Size 25
This horde dwells north of Deacon and Boozer’s safe house.
Cascade Highway Horde – Size 50
Travel east of O’Leary Mountain and the horde will be north of the Horse Creek Ambush Camp.
Proxy Falls Horde – Size 50
This horde is located south of the Horse Creek Ambush Camp and east of Copeland’s Camp.
Little Bear Lake Horde – 30
This horde sits on the border between the Cascade and Belknap region, located next to the Little Bear Lake Nero Checkpoint.
Belknap Region
Shadow Lake Horde – Size 50
Use the nearby checkpoint to travel north of Marion Forks.
Bear Creek Hot Springs Horde – Size 50
Located west of the Bear Creek Hot Springs Ambush Camp.
Patjens Lakes Horde – Size 100
This horde can be located northwest of Tucker’s camp Hot Springs.
Marion Forks Horde – Size 50
Located north of Marion Forks, situated in a dangerous zone.
Lava Arch Horde – Size 50
The horde can be found south of Marion Forks and east of the Hot Springs camp.
Belknap Crater Horde – Size 50
Located north of the Belknap Caves Ambush Camp.
Twin Craters Horde – Size 50
This horde can be found west of Copeland’s Camp in the south of the Belknap region. This location is very close to Ripper territory.
Iron Butte Region
Iron Butte Resort Horde – Size 300
Located close to the warehouse in Iron Butte and north of the Redwood RV Park Ambush Camp.
Lost Lake Region
River Flow Farms Horde – Size 75
This horde is located on the border between the Lost Lake and Cascade region, north of Iron Mike’s Farm.
Sherman’s Camp Horde – Size 75
Located west of Iron Mike’s Farm.
Metolius Lava Cave Horde – Size 150
This horde dwells north of the Lost Lake Encampment.
Westfir Horde – Size 75
The horde is located northwest of the lake surrounding Rikki’s encampment.
Wapinitia Road Horde – Size 75
This horde is north of the Berley Lake Ambush Camp.
Berley Lake Horde – Size 75
Located between the Old Sawmill Nero Checkpoint and the Santiam Tunnel Nero Checkpoint.
Old Sawmill Horde – Size 500
Out of all the horde locations in Days Gone, this is the largest-sized one in the game. It can be found at the Old Sawmill with a checkpoint close by to fast-travel to.
Crater Lake Region
McLeod Ridge Horde – Size 150
This snow-covered horde location sits northwest of the Diamond Lake Encampment and west of the Cascade Lakes Railway Ambush Camp.
Mt. Bailey Horde – Size 275
This large horde can be found west of the Diamond Lake Encampment.
Rimview Ranch Horde – Size 150
Located south of the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway Nero Checkpoint.
Highway 97 Region
Beaver Marsh Rest Stop Horde – Size 130
This horde dwells east of the Cascade Lakes Railway Ambush Camp and south of the Santiam Tunnel Nero Checkpoint.
Mt. Scott Ski Resort Horde – Size 125
Located east of the Beaver March Rest Stop Horde.
Sagebrush Point Horde – Size 125
Located northeast of the southern area of the map.
Beasley Lake Horde – Size 125
This horde sits east of the Sage Point Horde.
Cascade Lakes Rail Line Horde – Size 125
This horde dwells north of the Chemult gas station over a river.
Chemult Station Horde – Size 125
The horde can be found at Chemult Station.
Groose Gardens Horde – Size 125
This horde can be found inside a house, south of Chemult Station.
Chemult Community College Horde – Size 125
Located in an infestation zone, the horde can be found on the football field, next to Chemult Community College.
Rye Rye Gulch Horde – Size 125
Located inside of a cave, south of Chemult Community College.
Juniper Ridge Horde – Size 125
This horde can also be found within a cave, west of the Rye Rye Gulch Horde.
Friendship Ridge Horde – Size 125
This horde is located within a warehouse, northwest of the Bare Bay Ambush Camp.
Lobert Draw Ridge Horde – Size 300
Another one of the larger horde locations in Days Gone can be found south of the Pillette Bridge Nero Checkpoint and west of the Friendship Ridge Horde.
Solomon Hill Horde – Size 125
Located north of the Aspen Butte Ambush Camp, near the Rimview Ranch Horde.
