Destiny 2 is Getting Crossplay Support in 2021

Updated:
Destiny 2 could be seeing crossplay support in 2021

Assistant Game Director for Destiny 2, Joe Blackburn, has given Destiny players a taste of what’s to come for the near future of the game including crossplay, transmog, and the return of some fan favorite Destiny 1 activities and rewards.

First up, yes, crossplay will finally be coming to Destiny 2…the only thing is we don’t know when. All we know is that it’s coming in 2021, so it could be anywhere from February to December. Most likely it’ll be coming with next year’s annual DLC, The Witch Queen. Barring anymore global pandemics, this will hopefully be released in November 2021.

Transmog is also set to make its debut in Season 14. This is also something that players have been asking to be implemented in the game for quite some time now and it looks like pretty cool based on some work-in-progress screenshots.
