Detroit: Become Human is a 2018 decision-based thriller from Quantic Dreams. It plays a lot like a TellTale title, featuring inter-winding plotlines and timed action sequences. The plot follows three androids in their exploration into what it means to be free. It is a poignant reflection of human nature and the human experience and boasts incredible graphics and storytelling.

Connor ( Cyberlife Android ) – Bryan Dechart
Bryan Dechart portrays Connor, one of the three playable characters in Detroit: Become Human. He is the first Cyberlife Android you meet when you begin the game and is an important tone-setter for the title. Connor works for Cyberlife in an authoritative position, unlike the other two protagonists. His job is to hunt down deviant androids, those who have gone against their programming in any number of ways. He finds himself working with the police as an advisor and offers an experience unique to the other two protagonists. Bryan Dechart is also a prominent Twitch streamer, winning Best New Streamer/ Broadcaster at the 2018 Golden Joystick Awards.

Kara ( Cyberlife Android ) – Valorie Curry
Valorie Curry portrays one of the three playable characters in Detroit: Become Human. She is an android, Kara, who finds herself developing sentience before protecting a young child from her father. Kara featured in Quantic Dream’s technology demonstration Kara, from 2012. It is said that the whole title has been derived from this technology demonstration. Valorie Curry is also a prominent stage actress, performing roles in Oklahoma! and The Diary of Anne Frank.

Jesse Williams portrays the third and final playable character in Detroit: Become Human. Markus is a service android who quickly learns that he is worth more than a life of endless servitude. As the story develops, Markus continues his journey by devoting his life completely to freeing other Cyberlife Androids from their servitude. Jesse Williams is also a model and activist. Semi-recently, he won the humanitarian award at the 2016 BET Awards.

Hank Anderson ( DPD Detective ) – Clancy Brown
Clancy Brown portrays Lieutenant Hank Anderson in Detroit: Become Human. Hank is a prominent cast-member and features heavily throughout Connor’s storyline. Hank has a grudge against androids and is often reluctant to work with Connor throughout. However, the irony is that he is often tasked with investigating cases involving deviant androids. Detroit: Become Human gives the players the chance to explore the developing relationship between Hank and Connor, with their decisions changing the course of the story. Clancy Brown has been a force in both live-acting and voice-acting roles for over thirty years. He has portrayed Lex Luthor, Eugene Krabs, Neo Cortex, Hades, and Surtur over the years.

Daniel ( Cyberlife Android ) – Ben Lambert
Ben Lambert portrays Daniel, the first deviant Cyberlife Android you meet in Detroit: Become Human. Daniel is disillusioned with his relationship to the family he works for and finds himself on the precipice of replacement by an updated model. Connor must interact with Daniel in an effort to save him and his hostage during the first chapter of the game: The Hostage. Ben Lambert is in the early stages of his career but has already delivered several small but prominent performances.

Elijah Kamski ( Founder Of Cyberlife ) – Neil Newbon
Neil Newbon portrays the Founder of Cyberlife for the Detroit: Become Human cast, Elijah Kamski. Kamski has resigned as CEO of Cyberlife prior to the game’s events and is shown as a private man. Connor visits Kamski with Hank throughout his storyline and is reportedly friends with Carl Manfred. Neil Newbon has a fairly well-established portfolio of acting and appearing across a variety of media.

Amanda (Cyberlife A.I. ) – Simbi Khali
Simbi Khali portrays Amanda, Connor’s handler at Cyberlife, in Detroit: Become Human. Amanda is an Artificial Intelligence interface designed by Kamski in the likeness of his mentor Amanda Stern. She only appears as an A.I. Interface, rather than a physical android, throughout the story. Simbi Khali may not have the most acting credits but features as a recurring character on a number of TV series from the late 90’s.

Todd Williams ( Alcoholic Low-Life ) – Dominic Gould
Dominic Gould portrays Todd Williams in the Detroit: Become Human cast. Todd is Kara’s owner at the start of her storyline, prior to her enlightenment to sentience. He is an alcoholic with unchecked aggression and acts as one of the game’s early antagonists. Dominic Gould is French-American, despite being born in LA, and found a lot of his work coming from French Film and Television throughout the early 2000’s. He also featured in Beyond: Two Souls in several roles.

Carl Manfred ( Celebrated Artist ) – Lance Henriksen
Lance Henriksen portrays Carl Manfred, Markus’ owner, in Detroit: Become Human. Throughout the early stages of his story, Markus acts as assistant and medical help to Carl. He, unlike other humans, treats Markus as if he was his own son and offers him respect throughout. Lance Henriksen has been in acting for a long time, also spending three years serving in the United States Navy in the mid-1950’s.

North ( Cyberlife Android ) – Minka Kelly
Minka Kelly portrays North, a Cyberlife Android who accompanies Markus throughout parts of his journey, in Detroit: Become Human. As an android, North was designed to be a sexual partner. She works at the Eden Club, however she gains sentience and strangles a client to death. She soon meets Markus as a leader of Jericho and helps him on his journey. Minka Kelly is the only child of former Aerosmith musician Rick Dufay and worked as a model before beginning a career in acting.

Zlatko Andronikov ( Android Dealer ) – Saul Jephcott
Saul Jephcott portrays Zlatko Andronikov, a prominent Antagonist in Detroit: Become Human. Zlatko trafficks and experiments on androids, also luring deviant androids under the pretence of offering them support. He features in Kara’s story-line, mainly. Saul Jephcott is one of the lesser known actors in the Detroit: Become Human cast, however he has had a number of recurring TV appearances over the years.

Luther ( Cyberlife Android ) – Evan Parke
Evan Parke portrays Luther for the Detroit: Become Human cast. Luther is a service android owned by Zlatko. Like other androids who work for Zlatko, Luther was modified to serve a number of functions. He acts as an assistant alongside operating as security and muscle. He features mainly in Kara’s storyline. Evan Parke majored in economics at Cornell University, and has found several smaller acting roles throughout TV and Film.

Lucy ( Cyberlife Android ) – Yvonne Wandera
Yvonne Wandera portrays Lucy, a prophetic Cyberlife Android in Detroit: Become Human. She does not feature heavily in the story but is seen interacting with Markus for a moment during his plotline. She uses her psychological simulation unit, being a social carer android, to predict the future. Yvonne Wandera is a trained actress at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts currently in the early stages of her career.
