EA Play Coming To Game Pass Owners At No Additional Cost!

Updated:

Xbox players, now is your time. EA Play is coming to Game Pass owners for free, starting “this holiday”, just in time for the Series X and Series S release!

“Today, we’re excited to announce the next step in this journey…” That’s how Sarah Bond started the official statement. To be fair to her, it is pretty exciting for Xbox Players.

Xbox Game Pass, to put it simply, is a fantastic deal. The service combines the Xbox online services with a Netflix-like Subscription service which allows players to download and play over 100 titles. Every first-party game from Microsoft is added too, so there’s plenty of reason to add the extra pennies to your monthly spending!

Now, EA Play, EA’s game subscription service, is being combined with Game Pass for the ultimate gaming experience. Not to make the pun obvious, but it’s important to note that this all only applies to Game Pass Ultimate and PC customers!

EA Play Used To Be Called EA Access and Origin Access

If you’re wondering whether this is enough to make you buy Game Pass, this is what you get…

You’ll get access to over 60 Ea titles, with games from The Sims, Need for Speed, Mass Effect, and more. Subscribers will also get a discount on any EA game’s DLC, as well as a discount on any EA games that aren’t on the subscription service’s library.

New titles often come with a ten-hour free trail, which EA Play players have exclusive access to. There are also member-only content drops, in-game challenges, and more!

This is all going to be combined with Game Pass’ cloud services! This means you’ll be able to play every EA Play title on your Android devices at no additional cost! Seems like a good deal, right?
