EXCEL Announce Complete VALORANT Roster Line-Up

Updated:
EXCEL VALORANT

Having revealed their VALORANT Team Captain David “Davidp” Prins earlier this month, EXCEL has announced this Monday the other players that will be joining the roster.

Just yesterday, the British esports organisation had unveiled the staff behind its brand new VALORANT line-up, with former CS:GO coach Jimmy ‘Jumpy’ Berndtsson and Sam ‘Fields’ Greenfield joining in as the Head and Assistant coaches respectively.

Linking up with Davidp will be two-time CS:GO Major Champion Vincent ‘Happy’ Schopenhauer. Despite a hot debut into VALORANT at First Strike: Europe playing as Orgless, the French player spent this last month on the bench of Giants Gaming following their Round-of-16 exit at the VCT: Challengers 2.

His compatriot, Morgan ‘B1GGY’ Madour, also comes from the same CS:GO background, but shares a much more problematic back-story, having stood-in for the 2014 Epsilon e-sports that got banned by Valve following accusations of Match-fixing.

During his stint as coach of Team Heretics in September of last year, B1GGY got his second ban on CS:GO, as an ESIC investigation caught the 27-year-old exploiting the spectator-bug during an official tournament.

Having played in the past with Sam ‘Fields’ Greenfield in Purple Cobras and unsigned, Marc ‘Honeybee’ Begley will also be reuniting with the coach for this brand new EXCEL VALORANT roster. The British will be one of the wildcards of the team, along with Swedish up-and-comer Alend ‘Ale’ Khalaf, which has already turned some heads in the scene as the Raze of HSDIRR.

The 18-year-old will be joining a squad with plenty of experience, in the hopes of climbing up to the top of European VALORANT, as we move towards Stage 2 of the VALORANT Champions Tour circuit.

We are really excited to present our full VALORANT roster and start competing against the best teams the scene has to offer. When selecting the final line-up we really took our time to find players and coaches who really understood our vision. We are in this for the long term and I truly believe we have created something special. Our ambitions for this year are limitless and I can’t wait to start this journey and experience it alongside our players, partners and community.
