11 years later since the last game was released, the new Fable 4 game trailer finally dropped during last year’s Xbox Games Showcase, when a teaser trailer was unveiled, sending the whole Fable fan base into a frenzy. This is primarily owing to the fact that the most recent mainline Fable game, Fable 3, was released in 2010. We had a quick glimpse of a beautiful woodland setting as well as an unlucky pixie who, at the conclusion of the movie, has an unpleasant run-in with a big toad. Microsoft announced in July 2020 that a new Fable game was in the works for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Phil Spencer, an Xbox executive gave a small update on the development of Fable 4 in an interview with the Dropped Frames Podcast, saying that long-time fans of the series “should just take confidence” in Playground Games because of the “pedigree of the team,” and undoubtedly showing that pedigree in Forza Horizon 5.

As you can see from the trailer, there is not much to get from it. Except, the setting and just the pure vibes being conveyed on the video. It is your typical Fable game, set in a medieval RPG action-adventure story and yes, with magic! We also see a kingdom at the end of the trailer, could this be our starting point of the story? where we get our first quests and whatnot. The answer is just to wait for more news and updates on the new Fable game set out to release soon on the Xbox and PC.
