Lots of fans were anticipating this pink-haired champion to make some kind of appearance in K/DA’s pre-release single, “The Baddest”. Though fans were mistaken after the release on Aug. 27th, we can say that Seraphine has definitely made quite a stir in the League community regarding her possible upcoming release. Here’s some facts we currently know about this rumored new champion:
She’s A Musician
One look on this potential new champion’s Instagram under the account @seradotwav, you can sense her musicality and passion for singing. She even calls her Instagram account her own “music corner” on one of her earliest posts. This LA-residing artist’s photos usually includes a musical instrument, whether that be her piano or her seemingly-preferred weapon, a guitar. She’s posted 2 covers on her SoundCloud account and we are definitely looking forward to more!
She’s A Cat-Person
Seraphine, possibly Sera for short, is the owner of a white fluff-ball of a cat she calls Bao. It looks like she loves Bao’s company whenever she works on her music or even just lounging in her room. The furry friend stays right by her side.
She Loves Fishes and The Water
We find her frequently talking about and posting selfies that include or are related to the beach, aquarium, and fishes. Are these possible hints to this potential champion’s abilities? Hard to say no. Let’s just say that the “dotwav” in her social media account names might not just be talking about the file container.
She’s A Big Fan Of… Her Fans
Not many video game characters prior to their release have had this much social media presence, but this method works so well for who Seraphine is. She’s an artist. She has to be well-connected with her fan base for her line of work. You can find her on many social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and SoundCloud. She constantly replies to her fans and engages in retweeting their content as well.
She’s Fluent In Two Languages
At least 2. We can’t say if she might know more, but at the moment we can assume she knows Mandarin as well. It might be almost pretty safe to assume she’s of Asian descent, even. In her recent post, she mentions singing a popular Chinese ballad, Tong Hua 童话(Fairy Tale), during her karaoke night. Her dad also messages her in Mandarin when checking up on her as she works on her music career. Even the name of her feline friend lends to this interesting fact.
Is Seraphine Going To Be a K/DA Member?
We had to put this topic down as a question since it’s definitely not officially confirmed yet. Though photos has been leaked of Seraphine along side the other K/DA members for a promotional photo for what-seems-like the big K/DA release later in the quarter, in addition to that empty spot next to Kai’sa on their Fanclub website. Further, Seraphine has linked herself with the virtual music group when she posted her own cover of the group’s 2018 hit “POP/STARS”. She further later posts a photo with the words “Can you feel the rush now?” on a letter board she holds, referencing lyrics to the K/DA song.
There’s been many speculations regarding her build and abilities. With the words “professional feeling catcher” on her Instagram bio, some fans anticipate a mage-in-the-making and the word “sensational” tied to it. Possibly bending other champions’ emotions at her will.
Fans are definitely still waiting for her to join the group on the bigger release. It would be quite a shame to not include this talented musician in one of the most popular virtual music group any video game has ever released. We can’t wait for this rumoured champion to finally take the stage in the Rift!
