Far Cry 6: How to Get the Chorizo the Sausage Dog Libertad Skin

Published:

Ubisoft blessed animal lovers last week when it dropped the gameplay reveal for Far Cry 6, and we’re here to tell you how to get the Chorizo the Sausage Dog Libertad Skin.

As well as debuting character trailers for Dani Rojas and Antón Castillo, it was the wiener dog that emerged as the star of the show.

Fans of the Far Cry franchise and recent admirers of Chorizo will have to wait until October before they can meet him in-game, but there is only one thing you need to do to secure Chorizo’s Libertad Skin.

Meet Chorizo

The disabled dachshund is a recruitable pet in Far Cry 6, who uses a customized wheelchair to get around. The wheelchair isn’t just a cute addition, however, as it’s also the dog’s weapon when fighting with the Libertad operatives.

Chorizo will be part of Far Cry 6’s ‘Fangs for Hire’ system, which was introduced in Far Cry 5. Players were able to recruit various animals, including Boomer, and use them as allies in fights.

Far Cry 6 will offer a wider array of animals to recruit, including a crocodile, but Chorizo is the pup on everyone’s mind, dubbed as the “dangerously distracting wiener dog.”

The Libertad Skin is easy enough to get your hands on. All you need to do is pre-order Far Cry 6 and the skin will be included as a bonus.

Chorizo’s Libertad Skin features the dog’s Libertad gear, including a blue bandana, collar, and a custom Libertad design on the wheelchair with spikes included.

What else comes with the pre-order bonus?

The Far Cry 6 pre-order bonus is called ‘The Libertad Pack’, and also comes with the Discos Locos ‘Deadly Disk’ launcher.

The disc launcher is bound to cause some anarchy in Yara, but Chorizo will soon be on hand to melt the hearts of every antagonist.
