Fortnite had their usual over-the-top season ending event today, it was possibly the most interactive yet. Below, we’ll detail the Fortnite Galactus Event in case you missed it or you just want a recap.
The Fortnite Galactus Event was incredible to say the least. Usually these events are more of a spectacle than a playable event.
Typically, the events limit you to just movement but this felt more like an actual experience beyond the usual.
At the start of the Fortnite event players were at the usual starting island this season, The Helicraft was positioned over Stark Industries and players could not go beyond the perimeter of it.
Then players would encounter Iron Man and he will gift you with a jetpack until you are handed your very own battle bus.
During the entirety of the event, players were equipped with a super powered bus, provided by Tony Stark of course, to fight Galactus. With the battle bus provided, players were tasked with shooting Gatherers coming from Galactus.
Below, you can see a clip of the event featuring Thor:
Directly following what happens in the video above, players experiencing the event got to continue to drive the bus.
Players would then continue to shoot Gatherers coming at you from Galctus only this time driving up Galactus himself to do it.
Like usual, after the Fortnite Galactus Event there is downtime until player can experience the new season.
Fortunately, Fortnite won’t have as extended of downtime as it did with the Black Hole Event, so players won’t have to wait another day or two to play as season 5 will be playable at 4am EST.
