Updated:
Fortnite Challenges

Fortnite Season 5 Week 4 challenges have launched this week giving players a chance to earn more XP for their battle pass. Check out the challenges and how to complete them below!

As with previous weeks, the Epic challenges will stay within your challenges tab for the remainder of the season while the Legendary challenges can only be completed this week.

Fortnite Week 4 Epic Challenges

This is a several stage challenge so you will have to complete one stage of the challenge to unlock the next. Each Epic challenge is worth 20,000 XP.

The first set of challenges are all fairly easy, as you should complete them just from playing and getting eliminations.

  • Stage 1: Eliminations within 5 meters
  • Stage 2: Eliminations while below 50 health
  • Stage 3: Eliminations with both full health and shield

Next set of challenges is 2 different challenges, but like before, you must complete one to unlock the next. Below we’ll go over all you need to do to complete them. Note that half of them are location-based but they can be completed at the same time.

  • Stage 1: Destroy enemy structures with a pickaxe – 10 structures
  • Stage 2: Damage opponents with a pickaxe – 100 damage

When it comes to destroying enemy structures, you should have no problem with this no matter where you land as there is almost always structures all over the island from other players’ fights.

  • Stage 1: Collect a tomato basket from a nearby farm – 1 basket
  • Stage 2: Ignite and dance at a Tomato Shrine near Pizza Pit or Pizza Food Truck – 2 actions

Collect a Tomato Basket at a Nearby Farm

For collecting the tomato basket at a nearby farm, you only need to visit one of the farms that are straight outside the desert.

At one of these 2 farms you will find a single basket of tomatoes.

The locations of the baskets are Steel Farm and The Orchard.

At Steel Farm, you can find the basket inside of the farmhouse.

While at the Orchard there are two baskets, you will only need one if this is the location you choose, so it doesn’t matter which one you choose here.

The first of the baskets at The Orchard is directly under the roof of the barn. The second basket, should you choose to find this one instead, can be found near the fridge inside the white house.

Simply interact with one basket and the challenge will be completed.

Ignite and Dance at a Tomato Shrine

For this challenge there are two parts, but they can both be completed one after another in the same game.

You will need to find a tribute-looking fire pit and ignite it. Once you ignite it, you must dance to fully complete the challenge.

There are two locations to find a Tomato Shrine. The locations are at Pizza Pit or Pizza Food Truck but you only need one Tomato Shrine to complete the challenge.

Pizza Pit, which is located directly south of Steel Farm. Once inside you must go on the second floor and you will find it near the top of the stairs near the wall, as shown below.

Pizza Food Truck, located east of Flush Factory, is pretty much by itself, so you should have no trouble finding this Tomato Shrine.

Remember you must ignite AND dance at a Tomato Shrine.

Fortnite Week 4 Legendary Challenges

This week’s Legendary challenges, which are time-limited, are extremely easy to complete and damage against IO Guards also counts.

Theses challenges are worth 55,000 XP.

Simply have an above-ground advantage over your opponent and deal damage this way to earn progress towards this challenge.

  • Stage 1: 4,000 damage from above
  • Stage 2: 8,000 damage from above
  • Stage 3: 12,000 damage from above
  • Stage 4: 16,000 damage from above
  • Stage 5: 20,000 damage from above

Hopefully this Fortnite Season 5 Week 4 challenges guide helped you complete your challenges this week so you can get as much XP as possible to complete that battle pass.
