Did you know that there are more than 1,624 skins in Fortnite at the moment? The game keeps growing and adding skins of all kinds – scary skins, battle skins, stylish skins, funny skins, and everything in between. Today we are on a mission to find the funniest skins in Fortnite to make your day a little brighter.
We will include skins from every source existing in Fortnite – Item Shop, Battle Passes, Bundles, Crew packs, etc. Just for you to know that some skins may not be available to get anymore.
John Cena
John Cena became a meme (in a good way of course) on multiple occasions during his time as a WWE wrestler. From “And his name is JOHN CENA” to the fact that no one can see him. And that’s only from WWE. We didn’t even start about the Chinese ice cream. Anyway, you love him, we love him, and his presence makes the game much more fun. Which is why he’s here.
John Cena appears in the store quite often as a part of his set. Not only you can get John Cena himself as a skin but also an emote “U can’t c me” with his signature palm move.
Snap
An honorable mention goes to the Snap skin. It was available as a part of the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass. The skin is basically a funny figurine that you could build yourself. You had to explore the map and complete missions to get new parts. And then customize the heck out of it.
Snap’s shape is already funny but with dozens of parts available you could make really interesting combinations. From a wasteland ravager to having a literal TOOTHBRUSH instead of the head, you had everything.
Nitrojerry
This is a hot-tempered walking firework with an explosive personality. Or just a stick of dynamite if that’s what you like more. Nitrojerry is rare but hilarious skin with tons of accessories all about fire and blasts. He even has a style with an exploded head!
Honestly, we didn’t even know this skin existed until now because the last time it was in the game was 346 days ago. Will it ever be back? We really hope so. Its emotes and styles are really one of a kind.
Boxy
Is this the reason why our Amazon Prime packages were never delivered? The Special Delivery set features two skins covered in boxes, a wrapping paper wrap, and a bubble wrap glider.
This may not be the most exquisite skin in the game, but it has a spirit, you know. It’s simple yet fun to see on the battlefield. As if you are raiding a delivery truck and the driver in panic decided to use packages as armor.
Mad Mochi
Yeaa… we don’t know either. It looks absurd, surreal, ridiculous, and any other word that describes “not normal”. Probably not a skin you’d buy for yourself but randomly seeing it on the island with all its faces is quite fun.
The faces all over the place are reactive. They smile and frown from time to time. The same goes for the pickaxe from this set. Although the pickaxe’s smile is quite creepy. On the good side, the dark style looks actually much better if you are thinking of picking the skin up.
Gummy Fishstick
The list wouldn’t be complete without a single variation of the Fishstick. There are quite a few Fishsticks in the game by now. But our choice landed on the freshest addition – Gummy Fishstick. It is as fun to play with as it is to look at.
The skin is also customizable. You get three colors (or rather, flavors) for the top half of the skin and three for the bottom. Mix and match to create your perfect combo. Although you might end up hungry for gummies after that.
Toon Peely
Another member from the list of overused skins with tons of variations is Peely. And at this point, there are just too many of them. We went through each banana in the game and our absolute favorite is the Toon Peely. The spirit of 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoons is perfect for this skin and is armed for all sorts of ridiculousness.
To be completely honest, all of the skins from the Inkville Gang set look their part. But Peely comes out on top because the banana itself is an iconic skin in Fortnite.
Way more iconic than the Fishstick. No offense.
P-1000
When life is tough because you got blended into a smoothie, you get your friend to build you a new body. A body that will be bigger, stronger, and unblendable. That’s the story of P-1000 and those of you who played in Chapter 1 Season X probably remember it.
The skin itself may look average but it has one of the funniest cinematics in the game. The whole 30-second clip is a recreated scene from Iron Man 1, starring Peely with an innocent smile on his face that will murder anyone that moves.
Human Bill
Even aliens want to chill during the summer. Human Bill is a friendly neighborhood alien who’s here to observe and hopefully have a good time. He also reminded us of the movie Paul (2011) which had a similar story with a similar alien. Watch it if you hadn’t. It’s pretty good.
The cherry on top is the customization available for this skin. For 1,800 Vbucks you get four headpieces, four skin colors, four overlays, whopping 10 tops, and seven bottoms.
Tomatohead
Bringing back the old classic, Tomatohead has a special place in the heart of every OG Fortnite player. It may not be on par with the latest additions to the game but back in the day, this must have been the funniest skin in Fortnite.
It’s classic that no one will judge you on having. Tomatohead still appears in the Item Shop from time to time and standalone costs 1,500 Vbucks. Although you can always splash out on the whole set.
KAWSPEELY
For those of you who don’t know, KAWS, also known as Brian Donnelly, is an artist. He started out as a graffiti artist but made his name with COMPANION toys. The toys blew up so much that some of them now cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Eventually, they were brought into Fortnite via this Peely skin. It looks like a KAWS toy with signature ears and crossed eyes. To use it looked more like a dead banana with popcorn out of its ears which is why it looked funny. Who knew there was so much more to that.
Madcap
This guy with a mad cap is a master of mushrooms. Because he himself, is a mushroom. This skin’s face shape and expression are already probably one of the funniest ones in Fortnite.
He’s not all fun though. The ninja outfit on this mushroom is quite badass and with the glowing style, the Madcap looks ready for anything. All the seriousness does go away if you put a bag of shrooms on his back.
Unstuffed Guff
The Guff decided to lose some weight and throw away all of his stuffing. So now he’s skinny, all ready for the summer, dude. You can tell by the look on his face that Unstuffed Guff is here just to chill. And maybe have a milkshake.
The downside is that the skin is a part of the Boardwalk Warriors Pack. It costs 2,400 Vbucks and although the rest of the skins in the pack are decent, they may not be what you’d expected to go along with Guff.
Mecha Morty
Rick and Morty is an iconic TV show. But instead of mentioning Rick here, who is the favorite of many fans, we decided to go for Morty instead. He needs some love too. Especially with this mecha suit he has.
It’s a great way of dealing with the height difference Rick and Morty have. And although the mech is simple, it comes with a backpack on its back. The final, and the funniest part of the set is the pickaxe which is a snake in a space suit. It even has a helmet and everything.
Goat
A runner-up in our list is the Goat. From the tank top to the hanging tongue, there’s no way to look at it with a serious face. It is a wholeheartedly funny and silly Fortnite skin. Especially knowing what those cursed goats can do.
The Goat arrived at Fortnite with the release of Goat Simulator 3. Not to spoil much on what you can expect in the game, but the opening is Skyrim’s “You’re finally awake” meme with you and other goats sitting in the carriage. That’s all we have to say.
Fabio Sparklemane
And the winner of today’s competition of funniest skins in Fortnite is the mascot of Unicorn Flakes – Fabio Sparklemane. This unicorn makes us question what was going on in Epic Games offices. those guys not only created Fabio himself, but the brand of flakes with three flavors, a theme song, and a lore story behind it.
Thanks to that, all of his cosmetics look incredible and majestic. Fabio himself has a range of styles including three with a cube in his chest. Was he so sick of the cereal that he ate that cube?
