With Eula recently released, Dandelion Seeds are again in big demand in Genshin Impact. Now we have Jean and Eula, both amazing five-star characters that require Dandelion Seeds for their ascension.
If you are on the hunt for the Dandelion Seeds for these characters, do know that you will need 168 of them to ascend one character all the way to Phase 6 (Level 90). So how do you farm them?
Where to find Dandelion Seeds
There are multiple locations where you can find Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact. The main one is the front gate of Mondstadt, where you can find around 9 Dandelions. Another big spot is on the cliff on the opposite side of the Dawn Winery’s adjacent lake.
There are 2 more spots that are not as concentrated as the ones before but still are worth farming: the regions around Thousand Winds Temple and Dadaupa Gorge
All the rest Dandelions are scattered across Mondstadt one by one and are probably worth collecting only if are stumbled by accident. The respawn time for Dandelions is three days so it will take some while to collect enough for your Jean or Eula, but on the other hand, when you will be done, your party will be unstoppable.
What lineup to use and tips for farming
Before you head out scouting and looking for Dandelions here are a few things to know. First of all, the only way to collect the seed is to blow on the Dandelion with an Anemo attack and then come up to the flower and pick the seed up.
That’s why make sure you have an Anemo character at your party. If you have Sucrose, that’s great for you, as a catalyst wilder, all of her attacks are elemental. Another option would be Venti, which I know is a five-star that you don’t necessarily own, or Anemo Traveller.
When farming for Jean I would run both her and Traveller to quickly switch between them and use their Elemental Skill to collect seeds faster.
Other good member for the party would be Klee. At the moment, Klee is the only one who can locate Mondstadt’s specialities (aka resources that are unique to Mondstadt).
