Genshin Impact: How to Make a Warming Bottle

Published:

The Dragonspine mountain in Genshin impact is the last place you’d want to stay frosty at. There are numerous ways of keeping the cold at bay, and one of them is the consumable warming bottle. It’s a nifty little gadget that creates a short-lived warming zone, keeping you alive if you’re not near a heat source.

In this guide, we’ll cover how to get a Warming Bottle blueprint, which materials you need to make it, and how to use it.

Where to find a warming bottle in Genshin Impact

The Warming Bottle blueprint is one of the rewards for raising Dragonspine’s Frostbearing Tree to level 4. If you’re unfamiliar with it, the Frostbearing Tree is similar to Statues of the Seven, except it won’t accept Anemoculus or Geoculus. Instead, you’ll need to search the mountain for 40 Crimson Agate, which are Dragonspine’s elemental oculus, and can be found by either exploring or opening chests.

Once you’ve recieved the Warming Bottle blueprint, don’t forget to use it in your inventory screen to unlock it. Before heading over to a blacksmith, however, you’ll need the resources to craft it.

Each Warming Bottle required two Flaming Flower Stamens, two Starsilvers, and 500 Mora.

Flaming Flower Stamens are pretty easy to get hold of. You can find Flaming Flowers all over Teyvat, but I’d suggest roaming around Dadaupa Gorge, especially near the road that leads to the Dragonspine base camp.

Starsilvers, on the other hand, are trickier to find. They’re an ore exclusive to Dragonspine, and can be found practically everywhere. I’d suggest going to the northern and eastern shores at the base of the mountain, as clumps of 4-5 Starsilvers are somewhat common there.

How to use a warming bottle

Like all gear items, you’ll first need to equip a Warming Bottle in your inventory screen before using it. When used, it’ll create a small warming field that lasts 5 seconds and reduces your character’s Sheer Cold meter.

Unfortunatelly, it’s not all that useful. Heat sources are abundant all over the area, and the Goulash dish does pretty much the same job, but lasts much longer. However, if you still need to fight the comically large Great Snowboar King, keep a few Warming Bottle in your inventory for the fight because there are no heat sources in the battle arena.
