A ton of updates have been rolling out for Genshin Impact from gameplay changes to buffs and nerfs as well as quality of life updates. Genshin Impact introduced Condensed Resin in patch 1.1.
What is Condensed Resin
Condensed Resin is a craft-able material using the Alchemist table located in both Mondstadt and Liyue, and it gives players the ability to gain double rewards for things that would generally cost 20 resin, for example Ley Lines, and all different Domains.
How to unlock condensed resin in Genshin Impact
The way players gain access to this crafting recipe once you unlock your Reputation Rank for Liyue 3. You have to go around and complete the bounty and request on the board that is behind the Adventure Guild stall.
You need 820 XP in total to unlock the recipe reward. On top of completing the 300 XP from taking the 100 XP Bounties, and then completing the 3 60 XP requests for a total of 420 XP per week. Though players also gain XP through completing different side quest scattered throughout the country.
Each quest will count as 20 XP rewards, though you also gain 40 XP for actually exploring the areas. That being said someone who is new and or a returning player can successfully gather enough XP to unlock the recipe.
How do you craft Condensed Resin in Genshin Impact
Once gaining access to the recipe you will combined 40 resin and a crystal core. You gain resin passively from waiting the timer for more to fill. You gain crystal core by running around areas like Diluc’s Winery, and the Geo Artifact Domains.
They also spawn around the Seven’s Statues throughout the world in both Mondstadt and Liyue.
