Genshin Impact: Where to Buy Fish

Published:

A lot of players have been struggling to keep up with the newer recipe’s from the Liyue area, they have had a ton of recipe’s that require fish in their dishes. Here is a guide on where to buy fish in Genshin Impact.

There are two main stores that you can purchase fish from in the game, both being in Liyue. To most players the docks of Liyue is just a tedious place to explore for events, random chests, dealing with the docks men, but in fact, his is the location for the fish market.

Buying fish in Genshin Impact

There are two NPC’s named Uncle Gao and Sun, you can buy up to about 25 fish in a few hours. Be mindful if you are struggling on Mora, I would not recommend buying from Uncle Gao, he up chargers the price on his fish, and sells for prices that are completely not worth it.

Though if you find yourself short on time, and you can’t wait for the daily refresh timers, and you have extra mora to spend, picking up his extra 19 pieces can make for some fast recipe learning.

If you buy all the fish there, you will be spending a total of 10,400 mora which doesn’t seem like a lot, but once you spend it daily for weeks straight it starts adding up, one week of fish farming could cost you up to 73,000 mora!

To put it into perspective that total is more than a leyline using normal resin. Keep in mind these are estimated prices and can be subjected to change based on quantity changes MiHoYo may add.

Also once the sun goes down and the docks empty you can head towards the tavern in Liyue to find out a lot of different lore between Uncle Sun and Gao, if you are interested.
