What is Violet Grass?
Violet Grass is one of the most common flower around Liyue. Its known for his bright purple drooping petals, most notable hanging from the tops of mountain.
Where do you find Violet Grass?
The first area, you are going to want to path around is the Lingju Pass’s southwestern mountain side. Starting from the entrance of the ruins path south towards the large waterfall, then you will swim across and begin to ascend the nearest moutin to star picking up the ones east.
Following that you are going to jump mountain ranges and pick up the 7 on that mountain top. Then you are gonna flip and go north to right under the Dunyu Ruins where you will circle round that large circular mountain range and grab the 15 that spawn.
The next set we are going to farm is west of the Entombed City, where we will skirt around the rock formations touching the water. From there we are going to path south, and grab the ones that spawn to the east and west of the mines along the tops of the mountain.
Lastly we are going to path south towards the Seven’s tower and run along that large strip of land gathering the ones next to and south of the domains.
The last large areas we are going to want to farm is west along the Qingyun Peak bridges that connect the large pillars of rocks that lead towards Mt. Aozang. Following the bridges will allow you to gather 15 grass.
Lastly we are going to go towards wast of Jueyun Karst, and west of the Wangshu Inn. Jumping around the small pillars/ mountain tops that scatter across the the land mass will allow you to gather 12+ Violet Grass.
Over all you should gather anywhere between 70-90 total grass.
What is Violet Grass used for?
Currently, there are two main uses for Genshin Impact Violet Grass, one being cooking recipes that include Black-Back Perch Stew, Stone Harbor Delicacies, and lastly Wanmin Restaurant’s Boiled Fish. You need 1 Violet Grass per recipe per one created.
Another use for Violet Grass is Ascending materials for the two Liyue Characters Qiqi(Cryo Healer) and Xinyan (Pyro Utility). You need 168 Violet Grass to upgrade both of them from 1-90.
