This town ain’t big for all of us. COD: Mobile Season 4 brings in western aesthetics along with a brand new battle pass, map, features and gun balance.
New Features and Events
The update went live on Thursday 27th and has a lot to offer. Season 4 brings a converted map from Modern Warfare 3 – Dome and a few new weapons like Holger 26, an LMG, and the MK2, a Marksman Rifle. Some of the weapons will be accessible via an event later throughout the season.
Speaking of events, there are a lot of them and other different challenges waiting for you on the road. The challenges announced already are called Under Pressure and BR Mastermind. Apart from those Season 4 brings back the Capture the Gold game mode, a western-themed mode that was lastly seen in Season 6 (OG western season). 1v1 Duels seem to also be coming back later on.

Activision was very excited to begin Clan Wars. There, you and your clan will be placed in a league with 5 other clans. Clans will compete by completing different tasks and how well you do when completing those will determine your position on the leaderboard. The higher the ranking, the better the rewards. The Clan Wars start on June 1st (UTC) and more news about Clan Wars, in particular, will arrive next week.
Ranked Series and Esports
This season is also a time for a Ranked Series reset. Introducing Ranked Series 2, in CoD: Mobile Season 4 Ranks will go down by one or two, depending on where you previously were. Based on the feedback from the players, map voting and new statistics are also there for you to enjoy. The new Ranked Series will last for 2 seasons before the next reset.

If you are a competitive player, there is some esports related news. With this update, Russia is now a part of the European region, and one more region was added (for both Southeast Asia and the Middle East). That means we get to see more action in the World Championship 2021 which is right around the corner. On June 3rd CoD: Mobile will kick off Stage 1 of the Championship, which will be a solo phase just like last year. This first stage will run to June 27th and then the second stage, the team stage, will be starting at the beginning of July.
Full list of patch notes, including weapon balance and bug fixes could be found on Reddit. There are still more news and breakdowns to come from Activision so so stay tuned.
