Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends Classes Guide

Updated:

Co-op is coming… Here’s everything you need to know about the Ghost of Tsushima Legends Classes before it’s October 16 release.

In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, classes are vital. Unlike the single-player experience, everyone in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends must pick one of the four classes. Each one is built to play differently and has class-specific upgrade trees and abilities. Thankfully, this doesn’t mean you all have to play as a different class.

‘ When playing with friends, you can mix and match classes however you’d like, whether that’s a party of four all playing the same class, everyone playing as a different class, or any combination in between.’

Darren Bridges, Senior Game Designer, Sucker Punch Productions

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Classes Summary

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends features four classes. Below is a summary of each class and their intended combat role.

The Samurai

The Samurai does exactly what you expect. They take the fight to your opponents and stay there. Hachiman’s Fury is their unique ability; this can be used to attack with a flurry of quick strikes if overwhelmed.

The Ronin

The Ronin class in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a supportive combat role that balances expert swordsmanship with some fun bonuses. Breath of Izanami will revive any downed teammates when activated. And… There’s also a Spirit Dog you can summon. Word is you can pet it, too.

The Hunter

The Hunter Class is the main ranged class in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. You’ll still have a Katana, so don’t worry about completely avoiding combat, but this class is focused on archery. There’s explosive arrows that can help thin the herd, and the Eye of Uchitsune ability which will “unleash multiple arrows straight at your enemies’ heads.” Neat!
