Alongside Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Sucker Punch announced Ghost of Tsushima New Game Plus is coming to the Samurai Epic on October 16.
Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima is the gift that keeps on giving in the best possible way. Recently, in a PlayStation Blog Post, Sucker Punch Productions’ Senior Game Designer shared some information about Ghost of Tsushima version 1.1, their first major free update for the game.

‘ If you’ve already beaten Ghost of Tsushima, you’ll find the option to re-embark on Jin’s Journey in New Game+. You’ll start New Game+ from the release to the open world, shortly after Jin’s initial confrontation with the Khan. You’ll keep all of the techniques, Gear, and Vanity items obtained in a previous playthrough, and difficulty will be increased to provide a new challenge…’

Ghost of Tsushima New Game Plus Will Have Exclusive New Merchant Options
Sucker Punch don’t just do things by half, though. Aside from the expected New Game Plus features like increased difficulty and transferred equipment, Ghost of Tsushima also includes a few extras.
There’s going to be a new horse for Jin to choose from with a “vibrant red mane and unique saddle”.
There’s also going to be new charms with devastating new effects and an additional upgrade slot for the Sword, Bow, and Armour.
The real bonus, though, is the introduction of the Ghost Flower Merchant. These merchants will work in a similar way to the existing merchants, however they will only trade in Ghost Flowers which are exclusive to New Game Plus.
With these Ghost Flowers, you’ll be able to get your hands on new Armour Dyes and other Vanity Gear exclusive to New Game Plus. The designs featured here are reportedly much more elaborate than those that exist already in-game. This merchant will also have a few new charms which will offer even further customisation for your playstyle.
Other features coming to Ghost of Tsushima are Armour Loadouts. This will allow you to equip all Charms and Vanity Gear in one easy click and make swapping them a whole-lot easier. There’s also going to be a Time Played counter when you load a save file now, and additional options for the Photo Mode!
