Angry Phasmaphobia ghost

You’ve probably experienced the sensation of hunting for a ghost for 20+ minutes only to be pseudo-hunted and left dry. When investigative reasoning leaves you wanting more, it’s time to resort to schoolyard tactics. That’s right. Let’s anger the ghost in Phasmophobia.

Benefits and Downsides of Angering the Ghost in Phasmophobia

There are numerous obvious downsides to making the ghost angry. First off, you’re more likely to be hunted and possibly killed off. Secondly, it impedes the progress of the investigation, creating a shorter timespan that you can investigate safely before needing to consume sanity pills or leave the scene.

That being said, there are advantages to angering the ghost. These include luring a shy ghost out of hiding for a picture or making the ghost more active allowing a hunt to go faster if you want to speed through and make some cash quickly.

How to Make the Ghost Angry

There are several things you can do to make the ghost angry. While some ghosts are angry that you exist, others need a few more steps. These can include:

  • Saying the ghost’s name out loud repeatedly
  • Using cursed possessions
  • Throwing objects around
  • Running through the house
  • Excessive talking
  • Certain ghosts hate certain things. I.e Jinn does not want you to touch the fuse box.

There are other ways to anger the ghost in Phasmophobia but these are the usual go-to methods. Regardless of what some people say, insulting the ghost does not have any additional impact on how the ghost reacts.

They react only to the fact that you are openly speaking out loud in the game and attracting their attention via activity.

Now that you’ve angered the ghost, it’s time to survive. Get your evidence, make it out alive, and keep earning that money.
