Cure Disease

If you catch the disease before you begin to show symptoms, then a Cure Disease is the best medicine.

This potion is made up of alchemical ingredients and is very effective in curing Vampirism.

Where to find Cure Disease

Silver Hand members (werewolf hunters) and the Vigilants of Stendarr usually carry a Potion of Cure Disease

Lycanthropy

You can also opt to turn into a werewolf, which will revoke the effects of Vampirism. However, this option is permanent.

Any player can become a werewolf by following The Companions Quests or joining the Dawnguard faction.

Alternatively, you can complete the Rising at Dawn quest to cure Vampirism.

Rising at Dawn quest

To start the side quest, talk to the bartender of any bar and ask about rumors.

The bartender will tell you of Falion in Morthal, who you can find outside of the town in the North-West at night.

He will talk to you about a ritual that must take place to cure Vampirism, but a Black Soul Gem is needed. Speak to Falion again and he will sell one to you for 150 gold.

You will then need to use a Soul Trap spell on a human in order to trap their soul in the gem. Alternatively, you can kill someone with a weapon enchanted with binding.

Once the gem is filled with a soul, speak to Falion again and he will tell you to meet him at his mound at around 5:00 am. You cannot be blood-starved whilst speaking to Falion or he will ignore you.

Meet Falion at the mound and select “Let’s get this over with” and he will begin the ritual.
