You are probably already familiar with tons of different currencies and resources available in Diablo Immortal. Well, here’s another one: Platinum. Platinum is a currency used for the most part on the in-game Market and you will find yourself low on it most of the time. This is why here’s a guide about how to get Platinum in Diablo Immortal.
What is Platinum in Diablo Immortal
Platinum is another currency in Diablo Immortal but it’s not as widely used as others. Nevertheless, getting your hands on a fair amount will accelerate your character progression and maybe get you a few goodies along the way.
The main uses of Platinum in Diablo Immortal are:
- Trading items on the Market
- Buying Echo Crystals from the Crystal Merchant
- Creating Clans
- Extracting Skill Stones at the Charm Craftsman
Out of all, trading on the Market is what Platinum is used for the most. The Market is a player sustained marketplace where you buy and sell items for the prices you set. Supply and demand also depend completely on players so you might not always find what you need available.
How to Get Platinum in Diablo Immortal
There are a few pretty straightforward ways how to get Platinum in Diablo Immortal. There are both free and paid ways but obviously, if you are looking to buy a ton of stuff from the Market you might be looking at the paid ones only.
Complete Daily Activity Rewards
You can earn 300 Platinum simply by playing the game every day. In the Activities tab within the Codex, you will find Daily Activity Rewards. To get the Platinum you have to earn 120 Battle Points. You can earn Battle Points by completing things in the Activities tab only. That includes dungeons, Elden Rift, Challenge Rift, Bounties, Bestiary, Helliquary, and Battleground.
Sell Unwanted Items on the Market
Just like you can buy things for Platinum on the Market, you can also sell them. The Market trades Gems and Skill Stones. But not all of them are tradeable. If you got to the Market and you don’t have an item available for sale even though you have a bunch of Gems, it’s because those aren’t sellable. The Gems that aren’t sellable are usually the ones you get from things like Daily logins and Battle Pass rewards.
There is a certain way you can tell that the item can be sold. In the inventory, it will have a scale icon and when you click on the item it will say “This item can be sold on the Market” in the description.
For an item to be sellable it has to be:
- Normal Gems: Found as a drop in the world. For example in the Hidden Lair.
- Legendary Gems: Has to Drop from the Elden Rift using an Eternal Legendary Crest (which is a Legendary Crest you buy for cash only)
- Skill Stone: No particular requirements
If you are looking to farm resources to then sell them on the Market, the best ones would be Normal Gems. Normal Gems are easier to get compared to other items and because of their low supply on the Market, they will sell pretty quickly.
Buy Platinum for Cash

The last and the easiest one is to buy Platinum for the real money in the Shop. Just like Legendary Crests, you can buy Platinum in good amounts for Eternal Orbs to then spend on the market or any resources you might need.
Platinum comes in three sizes in the shop:
- 500 Platinum = 50 Eternal Orbs
- 5,000 Platinum = 500 Eternal Orbs
- 50,000 Platinum = 5,000 Eternal Orbs
While the Eternal Orbs are priced like this:
-
60 Eternal Orbs – $0.99
-
315 Eternal Orbs – $4.99
-
630 Eternal Orbs – $9.99
-
1650 Eternal Orbs – $24.99
-
3450 Eternal Orbs – $49.99
-
7200 Eternal Orbs – $99.99
With the Eternal Orb bundles available you can expect to spend about $15.99 for a ten thousand of Platinum. This is a pretty good value that you can get in the store. However, if you need Platinum for a few purchases worth a couple of thousand you might as well just farm the Daily Quests or Gems to save the cash.
