Gasoline is one of the most important resources in the mid-to-late game. It will become your main source of fuel and will power most of the structures. The first thing you’ll need is a Refining Forge. It is a straightforward structure to build that you have probably made about 1000 times by now. Players will unlock it at level 20 and it will require 125 stone, 5 flint, 56 hide, 20 wood, and 40 fiber to make.

Now, to make gasoline in ARK, users just need to follow a few steps:

  1. Put 6 oil, 5 hide, and whatever materials you wish to fuel the machine (wood, thatch, etc) into the Refining Forge
  2. Light Fire
  3. Wait for 30 seconds
  4. Look into the Forge and collect your 5 gasoline cans

Once you reach higher levels and build an Industrial Forge, you will be able to craft 100 gasoline cans in 20 seconds. Of course, you will need to provide the necessary resources as well.

An Alternative Method

Another way one can make gasoline in ARK Survival Evolved would be by using gas. This can only be done in the Aberration Expansion Pack, using the Chemistry Bench. All you need are 20 Congealed Gas Balls and 20 Green Gems.

And now you know all there is to know about making Gasoline in ARK Survival Evolved. Apart from gasoline, there are many other materials you will have to craft, so here are a few guides to help you with that:
