ARK Survival Evolved How to Spawn Tamed Dinos

In ARK, using console commands can make everything possible. To spawn a creature you want, you must know the correct commands to use, as well as all the modifications you may make to ensure that they work perfectly.

Here is how to spawn tamed dinos in ARK: Survival Evolved using console commands.

How to Spawn Tamed Dinos in ARK

In ARK, there are three ways to spawn tamed dinosaurs, and depending on your objectives, you can utilize either one.

  • You can use the summon command. It will be of the species you choose, but every aspect of it, down to the level, will be completely random. Unless you tell it to be, it won’t be tamed.
  • The SpawnDino command allows you greater control over the creature’s traits. It will spawn as untamed, though.
  • The SpawnSetupDino command allows you to spawn a tamed beast and establish qualities as well as select a saddle. You won’t have a color option, but you can fix it with some paint and dye.

Unfortunately, there is no way to spawn tamed or untamed dinos in ARK without console commands.

Players can’t always use console or admin commands in ARK, which is crucial to these methods.

You may just use commands if you’re in charge of a single-player server that you host yourself. GMs don’t have to activate them, and there are no restrictions on using them. Commands simply function, including those required to call forth dinosaurs and other animals.

On a hosted server, you might need to activate commands before using them if you’re the administrator. You will need to set up an admin password for your account.

The admin must enter that password to allow cheats when playing on this setup before they can issue any commands.

You won’t be able to utilize commands if you’re playing on a server that you don’t host or have administrator access to. One is limited to requesting an administrator or looking for beasts the conventional way.

Using the GMSummon Command

You may spawn a specific tamed dino with a random level using the summon command.

Here is how to use the command, using the Triceratops as an example:

  1. To access the console, press Tab (LB, RB, X & Y on Xbox or L1, R1, square, triangle on PS).
  2. Write enablecheats admin-password, if required, and press Enter. Change “admin-password” with your real admin password.
  3. Type admincheat gmsummon Trike_Character_BP_C and hit Enter.

A randomly generated, tamed Trike will appear before you. For other dinos, use their Creature IDs instead of “Trike_Character_BP_C”.

Using the Spawndino Command

You may provide not only a level but also a location for the tamed dino you want to spawn with the SpawnDino command.

To adjust the location of where it spawns in relation to you, modify the entry. You may also choose to have its level decided at random by leaving that option unchecked.

Players can spawn a level 60 Brontosaurus by using these instructions:

  1. Press Tab (LB, RB, X & Y on Xbox or L1, R1, square, triangle on PS) and enable cheats, as shown before, if required.
  2. Type Admincheat SpawnDino “Blueprint’/Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Sauropod/Sauropod_Character_BP.Sauropod_Character_BP'” 500 50 0 60 and hit Enter.
  3. Write in the console dotame or forcetame and press Enter

Here are what some of the variables mean:

  • The number 500 defines how far ahead of you the monster will appear. You are free to substitute any number in its place.
  • The number 50 indicates whether the dinosaur will spawn to the left or right of where you are standing. Selecting 50 shifts it slightly to the right. – 50 would slightly shift it to the left.
  • 0 is the vertical or horizontal distance at which the monster will emerge. Unless there is a good reason to spawn it above or below you, think about leaving it at 0.
  • 60 represents the level it will have when spawned.

Using the Spawnsetupdino Command

The ideal command to use is SpawnSetupDino if you want the greatest control over what creature arrives. You may decide the level of the dinosaur, its attributes, and whether or not it has a saddle.

Here is an illustration of how to spawn a level 90 Rex with melee, speed, stamina, and health configured. It also has a high-quality saddle:

  1. Hit Tab (LB, RB, X & Y on Xbox or L1, R1, square, triangle on PS) and enable cheats, if necessary.
  2. Enter admincheat SpawnSetupDino “Blueprint’/Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Rex/Rex_Character_BP.Rex_Character_BP'” “Blueprint’/Game/Extinction/CoreBlueprints/Items/Saddle/PrimalItemArmor_RexSaddle.PrimalItemArmor_RexSaddle” 65 90 “Stamina=10,Health=35,MeleeDamageMultiplier=2,SpeedMultiplier=5” 500 100 0

This approach provides you the greatest control and results in an instant tame. It could, however, be a bit trickier. It may opt not to spawn if you select values that are not compatible with the monster you are summoning or with the server’s restrictions.

The creature’s adjustments are made using the command’s components:

  • The saddle’s blueprint route is contained in the second blueprint submitted. The quantity and saddle quality are directly correlated. Remove the Blueprint route but keep the quotations around it if you don’t want to spawn a saddle. If you’re doing this, make the saddle’s quality 0 instead.
  • The 90 represents its level. Change it to alter the level of the monster that spawns.
  • You put each attribute you wish to set up in quotations, separating each entry with a comma. Do not separate entries with blank lines. You can change Health, Stamina, Food, Water, Weight, Temperature, Oxygen, Torpidity, MeleeDamageMultiplier, SpeedMultiplier, TemperatureFortitude, and CraftingSpeedMultiplier.
  • The beast will emerge in front of you at a distance of 500.
  • The monster will appear 100 yards to the right of where you are.
  • It will spawn at 0 degrees either up or down.
