The popularity of Warzone continues to grow! NRG personality HusKerrs is bringing a Duos Tournament to Activision’s Battle Royale soon. HusKerrs’ Howl will feature 16 Duos and begin October 30.
Jordan “HusKerrs” Thomas is a name you may have heard before. He’s a pretty popular Twitch streamer that’s currently signed for NRG. He’s also the man behind the HusKerrs’ Howl Call of Duty Warzone Duos Tournament. Starting October 30, just in time for Halloween, the tournament will pit 16 duos up against one another in a double elimination bracket.
This tournament will take place over three weeks, featuring the limited-time Zombies Royale mode in it’s first week.
Once Zombies Royale ends, it appears that the second week of qualifiers will be played on the standard Warzone game modes. The tournament, like most nowadays, will be held completely online.
HusKerrs’ Duos Tournament has a prize pool of $300,000, too. So, expect a hotly-contested tournament. The sixteen teams competing will be announced over the coming weeks. The whole event will be streamed on a dedicated Twitch channel (Twitch.TV/huskerrshowl) and have HusKerrs casting as and when it is required.
