Looking for something other than a classic Draven Build for your League of Legends ventures? This Hail of Blades and Muramana Draven Build is for you!
Originally appearing on Korean Servers, this Draven build has been a hot topic of conversation for League of Legends players since.
Recently, high-tier Korean players have tried running a Draven build with Hail of Blades and Muramana. This stands out from the classic Infinite Edge / Bloodthirster combo.
By building Mana and Lethality items on Draven, summoners have found a beautiful set-up that works both in bottom lane and up top! Let’s analyse…
Draven Build Runes For League of Legends
Domination Tree:
Hail of Blades: It works well with Draven’s Q Ability. He can poke when needed and burst enemies with his extra attack speed.
Taste of Blood: This helps Draven sustain himself during the early lane phases and offers him extra AD on the hits he makes.
Ghost Poro: This Rune offers extra adaptive damage for every spawning Poro. It also adds vision! Let’s not forget about that, now.
Ravenous Hunter: This one helps Draven win duels and improves his resistance thanks to its’ healing-per-stack properties.
Precision Tree:
Presence of Mind: This synergises really well with Muramana. Any extra mana you receive will scale up to extra damage.

Legends: Bloodline: This also adds sustainability to Draven with it’s extra 0.6% life-steal per stack.
The Items You Need For This Draven Build
Muramana:
This item synergises really well with Draven’s Q Ability. Draven gets bonus attack damage equal to 2% of his maximum Mana. Also, his basic attacks and single-target abilities consume 3% mana to deal bonus physical dmaage.
Muramana charges surprisingly fast with Draven’s skill-set.
Beserker’s Greaves: Attack Speed, Attack Speed, and Attack Speed. Need we say more?
Sanguine Blade: Sanguine Blade offers Draven a selection of stat bonuses. Lethality, Attack Damage, Attack Speed, and Life Steal are all great to have. This works well in top-lane scenarios when Draven is in a 1-on-1 situation.
But, Sanguine Blade also has a passive: Blood Pursuit. This works well in bottom lane, especially when a tower dies. Imagine that Sanguine Blade is a replacement for Bloodthirster.
Edge of Night: This is vital to the main stat needed for this Draven Build: Lethality. As a bonus, it also offers a shield that keeps Draven safe from any pokes or bursts.
Youmuu’s Ghostblade: This offers Draven an insane amount of Attack Speed and a bonus to Lethality. This, combined with Draven’s W Ability helps him pursue enemies and poke down enemies in a simple fashion.
Guardian Angel: Good ol’ Guardian Angel. This is the main defensive item on this build.

If you get to the point where you’re buying this, chances are you’re close to the end of the game. Guardian Angel will make the difference in team fights. Mainly, this is because you should draw more focus with it.
This League of Legends Draven Build Conclusions
This Hail of Blades / Muramana build is dependent on Lethality and Mana. It’s a bit of a Glass Cannon in comparison to the Bloodthirster-Critical build because it lacks the same levels of Survivability and Life Steal.
However, this build offers an insane amount of Burst Damage that makes him an absolute machine. You can, and should, use this build for both top and bottom lane.
As always, GLHF.
