Diablos Carapace can be obtained from hunting Diablos in High Rank. It is the High Rank equivalent of the Low Rank Diablos Carapace, so they are quite common.
Either capture or slay Diablos to receive its Shard. As long as it’s in Master Rank quests, you are almost guaranteed to obtain one.
