The Assassin Ascendancy
The Assassin Ascendancy is a subclass that’s mainly focused around building up critical strikes. However, it also has a number of skills that are based on poison and its uses, which can be used to inflict Damage over Time multipliers and can often stack to create devastating health drains. Adding to this, their Mistwalker ability can be used to garner further dodge and movement speed buffs making The Assassin Ascendancy perfect for adept killers.
The Saboteur Ascendancy
This Ascendancy subclass specializes in using mines and traps to get results. They can go one of two ways, really. Either, they can use Bomb Specialist and Demolitions Specialist to get bonuses to mines, or Perfect Crime and Chain Reaction to get bonuses to traps! There are also avenues which can be exploited to increase life regeneration and reduce the mana cost for traps and mines. The Saboteur is a perfect compliment to an already-balanced team looking for that extra layer of damage.
The Trickster Ascendancy
The Trickster Ascendancy is perfect for players who want to play with high maneuverability and speed. It’s perfectly suited for builds that focus on Damage over Time effects, such as poisonous abilities. The Trickster Ascendancy also has a good level of survivability thanks to their specializations in evasion and energy shields. Tricksters perform well as a part of a team which can pull the focus and, like all Shadow subclasses, let them work in and amongst the chaos.
