It has been a while, but Entei is finally back at Pokémon Go Five-Star Raids. The last time this legendary Pokémon that holds many memories for the older generation was in 2019. This time, it can even appear on its shiny version!

It’s hard to forget one of the main Pokémon from the 2000 movie. So, if you want to add Entei to your Pokémon list, you have from Tuesday, January 26, 2021, to Sunday, January 31, 2021, 10:00 am local time to gather your friends and battle it.

How to Win Against Entei

Entei is a fire type Pokémon, therefore is weak against water, ground and rock Pokemon types. Those three types of attack deal 160% of damage. Entei is also resistant against Ice, Fire, Grass, Steel, Bug and Fairy, so it’s better to avoid attacks and Pokémon from those types.

According to the statistics calculated by Pokébattler, it’s good to have in your team attackers like Mega Blastoise, Shadow Swampert, Shadow Tyranitar, Rampardos and Shadow Gyarados. Of course, the raid difficulty depends on each of these Pokemon and Entei moveset.

The three hardest combinations of moves you can battle against are:

  1. Fire Fang and Overheat
  2. Fire Spin and Overheat
  3. Fire Fang and Fire Blast

Therefore, it’s good to pay attention to your team moveset too. Considering the five best Pokémon to use against Entei, the ideal moveset is:

  1. Mega Blastoise (Water Gun, Hydro Cannon)
  2. Shadow Swampert (Mud Shot, Hydro Cannon)
  3. Shadow Tyranitar (Smack Down, Stone Edge)
  4. Rampardos (Smack Down, Rock Slide)
  5. Shadow Gyarados (Waterfall, Hydro Pump)

How Many Trainers?

With the right team and moves, 2 trainers should be enough to win against Entei, even if it’s a hard battle. Though, if you want to feel safer, it’s good to bring along a third trainer.
