Rumours: Fnatic Set to Buy Nisqy, Replacing Nemesis

Updated:

Nisqy is set to sign with Fnatic, leaving Cloud9 after two years. The LEC team will most likely replace Nemesis, who will be available for a buyout this offseason.

Nisqy will be Fnatic’s New Mid Laner this Upcoming Season

According to Jacob Wolf, Fnatic has reached a verbal agreement with Cloud9 to sign Nisqy as its new mid laner for the 2021 season. The agreement will most likely be finalized at the start of the period of Free Agency, on Nov. 16.

The Belgian mid laner had already played in the British team, playing for a few months in Fnatic Academy. If the roster change will be confirmed, Nisqy will return to Europe once again, after leaving Splyce back in 2018.

Nisqy will leave the mid lane spot in Cloud9, meaning that the team will have to pick up a new mid laner. The Nisqy transfer will most likely depend on whether Perkz, the current G2 ADC, will be acquired by C9.

Nisqy will Replace Nemesis

This means that Nisqy will take Nemesis’ spot as the new mid laner, who will be available for a buyout in the offseason. The Slovenian Prodigy will surely end up somewhere, as he has established himself as a pretty good mid laner, despite the slump in Summer & at Worlds. It will be interesting to see where he will go, as he might also go to NA & play in the LCS.
Remember that the Free Agency will open Nov. 17 at 1:00 AM CEST, so make sure to check our website for all the announcements!
