Ever since Bethesda has unveiled Starfield back in E3 2018, not much else regarding the sci-fi RPG has been revealed. However, an insider has claimed that we may see Starfield release as early as this year. The information comes from an Xbox Series X podcast from Dealer Gaming.
What I’ve heard, is that Bethesda is probably 90 percent going to have it at E3, or whatever they call E3; they won’t actually be a part of the official E3. But, 90 percent for it to be there and then what follows is usually the Fallout 4 battle plan… introduce it at E3 and launch it in November. You still have to factor in COVID.

Todd Howard, director and executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, has mentioned that it would be hard to imagine Starfield being a console exclusive.

However, with Microsoft having acquired Bethesda’s parent company, ZeniMax Media, and having announced that some future Bethesda titles will be exclusive for Xbox and PC, the certainty of whether Starfield will be exclusive or not remains in the air.
Until then, we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves when Bethesda shows us more footage and details on the game, including the Starfield release date.
The E3 2021 online event is still not fully confirmed to be happening. however, it is safe to say that it will still go through. After all, only the live event was cancelled earlier this year.

Should the E3 2021 virtual event, keep your eyes peeled for Bethesda and Starfield, as it will surely be one of the most anticipated games of the year if it does get announced for later in 2021.
