Warzone: Alcatraz Map Leaked, Renamed “Rebirth Island”

Updated:

Ahead of the next Season and Battle Pass, a Warzone Alcatraz Map has been leaked. It first featured on Black Ops IIII, but reports suggest it will return to the franchise as “Rebirth Island”.

Fans of Call of Duty’s first Battle Royale, Blackout from Black Ops IIII, will be happy to know that the Alcatraz Map could be making a comeback in Warzone. That is, if leaks are to be believed.

Supposedly, though, this remake will no-longer be called Alcatraz. Rather, it’ll be reborn as ” Rebirth Island”. Get it?

Contrary to initial thoughts, it has been speculated that the Alcatraz Map will not be a fully new Warzone map. Rather, it’ll be an addition to the ever-evolving current map: Verdansk.

This news comes mere days after the potential leak of Black Ops 2‘s Buried Zombies Map making a return to the franchise. After Nacht Der Untoten appeared in Die Maschine, who’s to say Buried won’t either…

The aptly named BlackOpsLeaks shared the above image on Twitter. It was data-mined, however it is still important to take this with a grain of salt. Leaks are never 100% trustworthy.

It is also likely that any leaks could be taken down by Activision. Generally, they tend to issue DMCA claims against leaked media.

What do you think? Is an Alcatraz Map coming to Warzone any-time soon? If not as a whole map, where do you think Rebirth Island will be located?

And, is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War too long to type? That’s one we can answer. Yep.
