Virtual Reality Gaming and New World Experiences

With the arrival of virtual reality and the progress of this technology, we have seen different ways for VR to be enjoyed and not just in the usual ‘Gamer’ sense of things.

Some people may not consider the gaming world as a hobby or entertainment that would suit them. But Virtual Reality offers more than just gaming.

The VR experiences that are now available are literally, out of this world! Whether you want to seek some extra thrills on a roller coaster or just want to relax underwater and watch the fishes!

VR has brought about some amazing game titles such as Star Wars: Squadrons, No Mans Sky, Skyrim, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, to name just a few.

However, most people might not know about the full range of other VR entertainment that’s on offer. New types of entertainment and experiences await.

The programs and software are available on YouTube, Android app, PlayStation, PC and Xbox, plus other online platforms.

Do be aware of the warnings involving flashing images and their impact on some people.

InCell VR – Another VR app, InCell takes you inside the human body, right down to the cellular level. There is an action/racing aspect to the game to liven things up a bit, but this is a learning experience that shows off some nice visuals.

It allows for many other devices to be used by disabled people, giving them access to the world of gaming that they otherwise wouldn’t have.

It has been produced and improved over the years with direct feedback from disabled users. They’ve reported that the experience for them has been life-changing.

The Xbox adaptive controller is also very customisable, using full button remapping and set up of multiple profiles, with instant switching between them.

Watching professional Esports tournaments is very exciting when you’re familiar with the game, just like with traditional sports.

Once you find a game that you enjoy watching, you’ll get to know more about the game and you’ll become familiar with the teams.

One of the great things about esports is that because it’s not as physically demanding on the body, there are many games played on the same day. The gamers only needing short breaks in between.

Check out Twitch & YouTube for Esports content. There may be a rare technical issue that occurs with online gaming, but the gameplay isn’t stopped constantly due to a player rolling around on the floor near the penalty area, and it’s exciting!
