Wild Rift continues its goal to extend its reach into new territories- especially North America. Riot Games design director, Brian Feeney, share some Wild Rift updates to fans about their ongoing process and development in an exclusive article on the Wild Rift Website.
Just recently, Wild Rift finally opened its doors to Europe and the Nordics. This feat proves quite a lot for Riot as it continues its expansion in to the bigger continents, which is still the Wild Rift developers main focus.
Following it on their list of goals, is the upgrading of the current quality of the game to those where the game is available. Matchmaking has shown to be one of the biggest issues with the game as more players share their worries with the development team. Riot aims to fix that and a few other problems. Frequent improvements will be something to be expected from the team as they work on reducing queue times, lower rank difference in matches, and reduce cross-region games.
Last on the list is changes to itemization to grow Wild Rift gameplay.
Don’t expect anything as sweeping as the recent overhaul of the item system on League of Legends for PC, but we are planning on releasing some exciting new items and some systemic changes.
