Escape From Tarkov Best Ammo

Escape from Tarkov (EFT) is known as the most hardcore FPS multiplayer game. The game provides a realistic experience whether it be with the weapons available or the overall gameplay experience. The game has over 50 different types of ammo available, and each will be compatible with a particular weapon type or weapons.

The weapon and ammo system in Escape from Tarkov is quite difficult. To understand compared to other FPS shooter games for new players. Each ammo gives different damage and you also need to keep your budget right so that you don’t run out of or lose any ammo.

The ammo in EFT can be looted from the raids and can be purchased from the flea markets or local traders. But the value depends upon their availability, rarity, and most importantly their damage.

The 9x19mm is the best ammo available in Escape From Tarkov for close-range fights, as these are mostly used for Handguns and SMGs. The damage through the 9x19mm is not high. However, it provides a high fire rate and less recoil. The 9x19mm AP 6.3 is the best in the family due to its high armor penetration level.

You can also have a look at the 9×19 Luger CCI if you want something that is equal in terms of damage and armor penetration. But if want to injure the enemy in the areas that are not covered with the armor then 9x19mm RIP should be your go-to choice of ammo. As for the weapon suited for such ammo, we recommend MP5.

Best 12x70mm Ammo (Shotguns)

Shotgun ammo is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and damage-dealing ammo available in Escape from Tarkov. If you are equipping a shotgun in your loadout then 12x70mm AP Slug might be the best ammo. You can equip it on your Saiga-12, a semi-automatic shotgun that can be really useful in close-range fights.

If semi-automatic shotguns are not your comfort zone, you might also use MP-133 with the 12x70mm AP Slug. This gun might be the second-best 12 gauge shotgun after the Saiga-12 available in the game.
