Escape From Tarkov how to Change between sights

Escape From Tarkov is the biggest game out of the new wave of realistic shooters. Modern gaming technologies allow for realistic gameplay elements that have sparked a genre revival. Today, we attempt to make life a little easier for players with a guide on how to switch sights in Escape from Tarkov.

Which Sights Can You Add on Weapons in Escape From Tarkov

The gameplay is not the only hard thing to learn about Escape from Tarkov. Another complex lair players are struggling with are the attachments, especially the vision attachments.

Since it is one of the most important parts of gunplay in Escape from Tarkov, it is also one of the hardest to master and prepare for. There are many different situations and environments that require marginally different optics and sights.

Luckily, another part of advanced realism in the game is the huge amount of attachments players can customize weapons with. This tremendously helps with the vision problem since players can add two sights to most main weapons.

There are many sights and scope combinations you can use in Escape from Tarkov. In fact, there are so many that it would take ages to mention all of them. Here are our picks for the best sights and scopes to use when playing Escape from Tarkov:

  • Canted Scope and Sight
  • “Hamburger” Scope and Sight
  • Canted + 2 in 1 Hamburger Triple Scope

The canted scope can be combined very effectively with thermal scopes, while the hamburger scope can be a combination of two big zoom scopes to enhance your view from a distance even more.

The canted + 2 in 1 triple scope is a little bit overkill since you won’t always need that much help with vision, but, in some edge cases, it can prove extremely useful.

How to Add Multiple Sights on Weapons in Escape From Tarkov

Each sight requires a mount attachment that it is compatible with. For example, for the Canted scopes, you will need the NcSTAR MPR45 Backup mount (MPR45). Drag your scopes onto the NcStar and then on your weapon.

For “Hamburger” scopes, simply drag any red dot sights or compatible scopes into the HAMR Scope and then put them on your weapon. Finally, for the triple scopes (or Delta Points), you will need a BRAVO4 attachment. Just like the other two, simply drag any dot sight or anything that is compatible on the BRAVO4 and then, onto your weapon.

How to Switch Between Sights in Escape From Tarkov

Similar to rotating weapons, the trick is quite simple. To switch between sights, if you have two equipped press CTRL + Right Mouse. Make sure to hold CTRL first and then press on right click. If you try to do it at the same time it will not work well.

Also, some people are experiencing a bug where this key combination does not work until resetting keybindings to default, so keep that in mind. You can find more detailed info about all the sights compatibility on the Escape From Tarkov wiki.

Apart from switching sights, here are a few more tricks that will help you in the brutal world of Tarkov:
