Coming Soon From Xbox Game Pass

Updated:

Xbox posted their usual “Coming Soon” tweet regarding the new Game Pass content drops for the Xbox One and first content drop for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

In the Coming Soon post, the Xbox Game Pass Twitter outlined future releases starting on November 10th with Gears Tactics, the newest expansion from Destiny 2: Beyond Light and the addition of EA Play to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Below, we’ll talk about the newest additions, some we knew about already and some entirely new.

According to Xbox Wire, games will be coming out for Android, console and PC soon. Seven titles will be coming out for Android from EA including Madden, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Sims 4. Other games coming out for console and PC include Final Fantasy VIII and the newest version of Ark: Survival Evolved titled Explorer’s Edition.

In November of 2019, Square Enix announced that ten Final Fantasy games would be heading to Game Pass starting in 2020. Final Fantasy VIII will be the fourth Final Fantasy game added to the service since the initial announcement.

Halo 4 is yet another game that is part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, also known as Halo: MCC, being added to PC. Just earlier this year Xbox added Halo: ODST and Halo: Reach to the service. The Master Chief Collection alone crosses all generations of Xbox, from Combat Evolved and Halo 2 for the original Xbox to Halo 3 to Halo 4 on Xbox 360, as well the aforementioned spinoffs, Reach and ODST. Halo 5: Guardians released for Xbox One, and since then we’ve gotten a Halo Wars sequel but no other first-person shooter Halo is expected until Halo: Infinite launches for the Xbox Series X. Although, we’ve only gotten one entirely new first-person Halo, a mode titled Warzone included in this game is Halo’s take on very big team battles, with two teams of twelve against each other in rotating objectives with A.I. enemies across the giant maps, making the team to claim all bases and destroy the enemies home base or the first to hit the point limit win the match. It is quite an incredible game mode considering it’s release was years before the battle royale genre literally exploded into the world of esports. Halo: Infinite will also be available day one via Game Pass.

Are these games being added encouraging you to get game pass, will you wait for your favorite Final Fantasy game to drop or are you already playing MCC and Final Fantasy to your heart’s content because of Game Pass? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
