Eternal Return Season 6 Tier List

With its addictive gameplay loop and unique combination of MOBA and battle royale mechanics, Eternal Return has amassed a loyal and growing fanbase. Naturally, as with most other competitive games, players are always looking to play the best picks. Here is our Eternal Return tier list with the best characters to play in Season 6.

What Are the Best Characters in Eternal Return Season 6?

Like in most MOBA-style games, the characters in Eternal Return are complex and nuanced. While most of them are at least playable in all situations, the battle royale splash from Eternal Return definitely leaves a mark on the meta. There are some characters that are marginally better than others.

In our list, the characters rank based on a few criteria:

  • Difficulty of execution
  • Reward, based on time invested
  • Balancing
  • Realistic ability to consistently use their kit correctly during a game

Another important thing to note is that, at the end of the day, it is important to play what you enjoy the most. This tier list aims to give a helping hand to players in regards to the meta of Season 6.

It is also impossible to talk about every hero in particular without making this article hundreds of pages long. We’re only going to focus on the most noteworthy characters in the game.

Eternal Return Season 6 Tier List

S Tier: Fiora, Li Dalin, Jackie, Hyunwoo

These are the best of the best of experiments (characters) in Eternal Return. You can never go wrong with these ones. Because of their amazing kits, unless they get gutted in their numbers, they are always a viable option. Because it is partly a MOBA, Eternal Return will always have some characters that have kits designed so well they are always present in the meta.

Picking up any of those characters will give you the best results both short and long-term. They are perfect for new players because they simply allow for more mistakes due to the sheer power of their kits. They also have a variety of viable builds at all times so you can go in blind and learn the ins and outs of the game.

While an argument can be made that more characters are “S” tier in the game, this list puts great emphasis on accessibility.

A Tier: Hyejin, Echion, Nadine, Hart, Lenox, Silvia, Cathy, Adela, Celine, Chloe, Mai, Leon, Rio, Zahir, Chiara, Barbara, Alex, Sua, Jan, Eva, Bianca, Nicky

A-tier characters are not that much different from the S-tier. In fact, some of them could be up there, it just depends on the player. Some of the characters in this tier have extremely high-skill ceilings that take a lot of games to reach. Mastering a character like Silvia or Cathy can do wonders for your rank, but it will certainly lose you a lot of games in the process.

If you choose to main any of those characters, you can definitely reach the top divisions in the game. Just practice combos, rotations, and routes thoroughly. If you become confident enough with any of them, you can take on the characters in the S tier with ease.

B Tier: Tia, Daniel, Laura, Xiukai, Sissela, Eleven, Luke, Rozzi, Jenny, Adrianna, Aya, Isol, Aiden

Starting with this tier, we’re going to be encountering characters that are somewhat niche and will struggle against S and A tier characters. Although you can still climb to the highest ranks with any of the B-tier characters, it will require a LOT more for each win. You will also die many times because of things out of your control.

Simple things like spell casting speed or attack speed play a big part in Eternal Return. And champions from the B tier are definitely lacking in some of the “basic” areas of the kit.

C Tier: Shoichi, Markus, Bernice, Nathapon, Yuki, Camilo, William, Priya, Magnus, Emma, Johann, Elena, Adina

This is the tier of characters that are either in need of reworks or were left behind by the constant evolution of the game. There’s no need to sugarcoat it, if you decide to main any of those characters, you will struggle. Champions like Bernice and Markus require very specific builds that are very inconsistent to get.

Also, many of the mentioned characters have very clunky kits that are really hard to master and provide very little value for the investment. In Eternal Return, every advantage you can get is vital. You don’t want to play champions that make your climb harder than it has to be.
