Genshin Impact Qiqi: Guide to Gearing, Playstyle & Team Comp

Updated:

Genshin Impact Qiqi is a small zombified girl players meet during the Liyue story expansion. She is watching over the herbalism shop while her father is away. The naïve child mentions that she wants milk from the elusive Coco Goat. Thus starts a quest line for us to hunt down this milk.

Later we come to find out she was talking about coconut milk and not an actual coco goat. She became a playable character once MiHoYo released her banner a few months back here is a guide to make sure your Qiqi is in top condition.

Genshin Impact Qiqi Ascension

Shes been out for a while but incase you are trying to pull her during her shared banner with Mona and Keqing, you can start by running around the mountain tops of Liyue scaling up and down collecting the Violet Grass, or similarly to Xiao you can head up to the herbalism shop and buy 5 a day.

The next material you will need is Shivada Jade, you can farm the Cryo flower with ease gaining multiple fragments and slivers as well as the Hoarfrost Core, though with the expansion of newest boss; Primo Geovishap you have a chance of obtaining them along with a lot of other rewards.

Lastly you will need to stock up on the Scrolls that drop from farming the Abyss mages, the simplest of the group to get.

Weapon

Qiqi’s best weapon is the Skyward Blade, with the boost to crit-rate, raw attack damage, and movement speed makes this sword BiS for a lot of crit users. Though the only way to obtain this sword is by pulling in the 5-star gatcha.

The alternative sword being Sacrificial Sword, which gives a burst to elemental damage and gives the chance to reset the cool down to the abilities.

Genshin Impact Qiqi Artifacts

Qiqi gives the option to play her as full damage or a very good support character. The best artifacts for her is to either do a 2-peice Noblesse Oblige; which gives “Elemental Burst DMG +20%” and a 2-peice Blizzard Strayer which gives, “Cryo DMG Bonus +15%” MiHoYo; if you are planning on playing her as a damage carry.

Or you can build her as a support character and utilize her healing and buff potential with giving her a 4-peice Noblesse Oblige, which then would give her the 2-peice buff and “Using an Elemental Burst increase all party memebers’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.” MiHoYo

Playstyle

Her abilities allow for you to mark and heal allies and do massive burst damages. As for the full damage player you are really going to want to utilize bolstering her damage using her mark to keep her topped up and giving her bonus damage against the enemies.

If you want to use her as a support you are going to want to consistently be procing her heals as well as her artifact passives to keep your carries doing the most damage they can.

Possible Team Comp

As for the full damage player you are really going to want to utilize pairing her up with people who can apply buffs to her, utilizing the buff of having two fire characters on your team could really buff her damage from the plus 25% damage the give.

So using Xiangling and Xinyan will not only give her a buff to damage, but also apply a Melt status effect that makes the enemies take double damage.

Though if you are building her support, she can be extremely versatile and play well with most melee carries like Xiao and Diluc.
