Even though Forza Horizon 5 is in the spotlight, British roads still get minor updates with new vehicles now and then. So here’s an updated list of how many cars are available in Forza Horizon 4 as of January 2023.
There are a total of 716 cars in Forza Horizon 4 from more than 100 manufacturers. You can get those cars by buying them for credits, completing events, spinning wheelspins, or buying expansions and car packs.
All Cars in Forza Horizon 4 Base Game
In the base game of Forza Horizon 4, there are 497 cars that you can buy directly from the Autoshow of the festival. On top of that, there are 16 barn finds that require you to find a barn with the car and wait a set amount of time for the car to be repaired.
All those cars are obtainable through free-to-play means by simply playing the game. The simplest way to get them is by buying them with credits (CR) that you get for completing events or selling your owned cars.
Or you can farm wheelspins and complete festival playlists to get cars. Although you may not necessarily get the exact car you want.
However, there are 83 more Horizon Backstage exclusive cars that you can’t buy. Instead, you can get them from the Forzathon Shop or use Backstage Passes to redeem them. They may drop from wheelspins sometimes if you get super lucky.
LEGO and Treasure Island Cars
If you want to take the festival beyond Britain there are two expansion packs Forza Horizon 4 can offer to you: LEGO Speed Champions and Fortune Island.
The LEGO Speed Champions will take you to the LEGO Valley and allow you to get 6 more cars made out of LEGO bricks. Not something you see every day for sure.
While Fortune Island will take you to the stormy, isolated island that hides treasure and 10 more cars for you to find.
Cars in Forza Horizon 4 Car Packs
Some cars are exclusive to car packs that you can buy for real money as DLC to the game. The car packs have been coming out consistently throughout the game’s life cycle and we might even see a few more in the future.
