How to Interrogate Enemies in Warzone 2

Published:

Warzone 2 has a lot of nifty new features and mechanics that many people will love. We’ve never had the ability to interrogate downed enemy players before, and that’s just one of the many things that came with Warzone 2. Today we’re going to show you how to interrogate enemies, and what interrogating does for you.

Warzone fun factor came from the fact that you could outmaneuver your enemies and run more. However, Warzone 2 changes the pace quite a bit. Now you’re encouraged to play in a more tactical way, and many of the new features are built around this slower pace. Naturally, this won’t render rushing useless, but you do have to think twice before mindlessly pushing enemy squads.

Intel will be your number-one priority when playing Warzone 2. The new Al Mazrah map is huge, and that is why you’re encouraged to gather information before you engage in gunfights. If you manage to down an unaware enemy, you now have the ability to interrogate him into revealing the location of his other squad members.

Interrogating a downed player is easy. All you have to do is approach the player and follow the interrogation prompt. The keybind/button for this can vary, but it should be the regular interact key/button on your keyboard or controller.

As you’re performing the interrogation, your player will hold a knife to the enemy player’s throat. The animation will take quite some time to finish, so make sure that you interrogate them farther from the rest of the enemy squad. Even then, it’s not always a good idea to interrogate. Breaking your momentum can drastically change the outcome of a fight.

Although interrogating does make you vulnerable, it’s still a great way to gain the upper hand in a fight. Furthermore, interrogating will also briefly outline enemies, allowing you to wall bang if you’re close. We’re not sure how powerful this will be, as Warzone 2 is still in its infancy. But it’ll definitely help you bait out camping squads.

Another thing to note is that the enemy squad can use this to bait you out and get an easy down. Don’t overextend yourself and fall for “easy” interrogations. The enemy squad can easily ambush you if they’re on higher ground during your interrogation.

Interrogating enemies is slow, and will likely put you in jeopardy, but we always have to take certain risks in games like these. Now that you know how to interrogate enemies in Warzone 2, you can go out and destroy enemy squads with your friends.
